If we're safer, how come we have way more gun violence?

Because you have a way to defend yourself from said violence which would occur with or without guns but with guns you have the ability to defend yourself by leveling the playing field. That's how we are safer.

The death rate from violent crimes where the assailant used a gun is ~3 per 100,000 people. If you excludes blacks (who skew the numbers) it drops down to less than 2 per 100,000 people.

Is less than 2 per 100,000 people what you would consider way more?

Because the democrat party keeps releasing repeat gun offenders......if they would stop doing that, our gun crime rate would drop by about 95%......a tiny number of criminals in democrat party controlled cities are committing 95% of the gun crime.....they have been arrested over and over again, released on bond, arrested again, jailed, then released on short sentences...and they are the ones doing all of the shooting.....

In almost all of America there is no fear......the fear is located in tiny areas of democrat party controlled cities where the democrat party prosecutors, judges and politicians release violent gun offenders over and over again........

If you don't live in a democrat party controlled voting district...

Your chances of being involved in a shooting are almost zero......but you get to own and carry a gun to stop rape, stabbings, beatings, robberies and murders.....
