I feel more for the victims. It's bad enough getting ran over but going through the rest of your life with the nickname "mudflap" will be unbearable.

Let's hope the rest of their lives is more than a few days or weeks.

They were blocking the road. Good riddance.

The obstacles forced the driver to the side. They were not in the middle of the road but the car had to travel a path it would not normally go.

They froze....it seems they were unsure.

Getting hit....then landing on pavement.

I still don't know how they are alive (or barely alive).

In the video it seem clear the driver didn't see them until the last minute, veering left to avoid the larger crowd, but striking the other two women.

It appears unavoidable.

The driver should be able to sue anyone and everyone involved in that bullshit.

Walking in the middle of the night on a High Speed limited access highway can be hazardous to one's health.

If the city wants to close highways, they need to do a much better job of erecting barricades and signs and engaging in traffic control to keep motorists out.
