1984 was a great year for movies

Yeah, that's a great list in the link, though some were real stinkers.

My favorite in that link is Once Upon A Time In America.

My ex-wife was the spitting image of Diane Lane in Streets of Fire, except her boobs were twice as big. It's a good movie, too, though most people have never heard of it. I have it on DVD but my current wife won't let me watch it...well...because.

So many classics

Terminator
Indiana Jones
Karate kid
Gremlins
I second the beginning of the Karate Kid trilogy, but I will add to the list Beverly Hills Cop because that film is what led my most favorite actor to the show named Perfect Strangers, I love Bronson Pinchot SO much! :) :) :)

God bless you and him always!!!

I liked movies from the 60s and the 70s. But todays movies has very great graphics, like DC and Marvel movies. If I was a child today, I will never grow up.

The early 2000s had some great stuff with the Bourne movies , LOTR and gladiator etc

The last movie I saw that really blew me away was the Dark Knight

What has exploded is the insane quality of TV programs that started with the sopranos
