The Cheeky Ones had 33 missile /drone launching sites down the sides of the Strait .
Last time I heard , 30 had survived and were in full offensive readiness / action .
They are in "impossible" to access terrain and are literally repaired and moved frequently .

This was known beforehand which is why I contended from Day One that Iran could not be beaten by just "opening " Hormuz.

We have the strait partially open via the new channel closer to Oman if the ships have big enough stones to run thru it. Only about 20% of normal traffic is using the new lane.

What the U.S. Is Doing​

Despite the closure, the U.S. has carved out a separate, safer lane near Oman’s coast:

• The U.S. Navy conducted mine‑clearing operations and sent destroyers through the strait to re‑establish a navigable route.
• U.S. Central Command confirms a “pathway is available” for commercial ships, supported by U.S. communications and coordination (but not military escorts).
• About 70 ships have used this U.S.-guided route in recent weeks.
• Many ships are transiting with AIS turned off to avoid Iranian detection, relying on U.S. guidance.

So the U.S. has not reopened the strait, but it has created a workaround channel that allows some traffic to move.

Oil is under $90/bbl so the US blockade is working, but Iran's not as well.
