100+ Corporate Executives Consider Freezing Donations Over Laws Curbing Voting Access

This is good news.

republicans have been dependent on corporate money for their elections for decades.

Hopefully they pay attention to those executives and stop passing these voter suppression bills that are based on lies.

What laws are they talking about?

1. That action by the CEOs is no surprise.

2. It is now the zeitgeist that certain folks are being unfairly prevented from voting.

a. Everyone from our nominal President to the media says so.

3. So of course big corporations are feeling the pressure to get aboard the stop voter suppression train.

4. This is not really news.

Really gettin' your fascist on this morning, aren't ya?

I have not analyzed the list of "100+" executives. There are tens of thousands of companies in the U.S., and this crew may be representative of nothing more than the few Leftists idiots who have managed to succeed.

But one might well recognize that it is the Republican Party that has thus far prevented the Left from making the corporate income tax 50% or higher.

Do they really want to piss off the one half of the political world that supports them?

Fucking idiots.

Voter ID protects everyone's Right to Vote from voter fraud, it does not suppress Voters.
Therefore these corporations are against the Right to Vote.

The private sector is motivated by financial interests, not altruistic motives, so corporate America's support for voting rights is an index of where its consumers, the American public, stand in the matter.

The rash of voter suppression measures by Republican state legislatures in the wake of the former guy's defeat and his lying about it is merely the latest episode in a long sordid history of self-serving phony pretexts to make it more difficult for Americans who are more likely to cast their ballots for the opposition. Both parties have tried it.

Disgruntled Republicans are free to reject future corporate political contributions and boycott those companies, of course.

I am not sure they are viable, now on national level though still fine in the states.

Uber Alles Democrat indeed.

You Nazis stand united in your hatred of America.
No. Love America, else would not have put in my twenty while you were far more safe and comfortable here stateside. No Nazi sympathies here. Just did not want a fascist, centralist, trump led government picking our enemies as our friends, idolizing dictators, or doing away with the rights of a free people to vote and have their vote count. What's wrong with that, except for those that are terminally short sighted?
