100,000 Americans dead- mortality rate of 30.69- three times higher than Germany- on Trump's watch

Over 100,000 Americans have now died from this pandemic- the most of any country in the world. More relevant is our per capita mortality rate- 30.69/100K- which means we are doing better than Sweden(41.44) but far worse than our neighbor Canada(18.55),- and three times worse than Germany(10.16) and some 60 times worse than South Korea.
There is no cultural reason why Canada and Germany should have lower per capita mortality rates than the United States- this is a result of a lack of national leadership by President Trump and his administration.

If the United States had the leadership of say Germany- the number of Americans dead from coronavirus would likely be in the range of 30-40,000- instead of 100,000.
This is what Trump should be measured by- this is what the voters need to remember in November- how many Americans needlessly died under Trump's watch.

Forget about all of Trump's pettiness, ignore his attempts to divert attention from the pandemic- and remember the thousands of dead Americans who died due to a lack of leadership by President Trump.

You don't even know if you can believe the numbers. Secondly the medical experts have said Trump was listening to them and acted on their advice so... your post is bullshit at this time when people should be just working together.

The "science" has also changed its opinion on things like is wearing a mask even important. You also like so many others reserve your hate for an American... namely Trump... when you have nothing to fucking say about what the Chinese communist government did.. who is currently oppressing the people of Hong Kong.... and is an actual enemy to the United States.... And you have nothing to say.. nothing.
People just like you.. really really Suck and are assholes.

You cannot compare the United States to Canada or Germany for the same reason you can't compare New York City to rural America. The top poster is a statistical illiterate who knows nothing about percentage counts and contagion intensity. Just more tainted numbers for the propaganda hounds.

Also another factor might be that while the US has an obesity rate of Around 36 %. Germany has one around 22. I’m willing to bet they have better overall health and a better diet than Americans in large cities. More facts the OP will wish to ignore I’m sure. And these people like to talk about the science. They don’t even understand health. Probably live ion a diet of whip cream and insulin injections

It is truly pathetic to what depths sick, twisted, mentally retarded, hate-consumed snowflakes, like this snowflake threat creator, will go in an attempt to attack this President.

Attempting to blame the President for the deaths of Americans from a pandemic created by and unleashed on the world by China - especially considering how Cuomo was attempting his best imitation of Hitler having Jews marched into the gas chambers by admittedly sentencing the most likely of those to die from the virus to do just that by packing Nursing homes with infected patients - is a known lie, a desperate act by sick f*ing partisan scum...

It is no surprise to anyone that it is 'NOT-syrius' who has stooped so low...

what we will remember is Trump mobilizing government and the private sector and removing regs and red tape to hasten production of medical equipment to prevent our medical system from being overwhelmed in a Manhattan Project like response ! we will remember the travel ban on china that saved hundreds of thousands of lives while left wing treasonous scum like you called the ban xenophobic and racist ! and we will remember how the left refuses to place rightful blame on china ! in nov we will remember that a vote for a democrat is a vote for china ! and we will turn out in record numbers and MAGA !
What proof is there that the partial travel ban on China saved any lives?
I never called the ban 'xenophobic or racist'- though certainly Trump does love to blow those dog whistles for you.
I have never denied China is to blame for what they failed to do- and what they did do- unlike Trump I didn't praise Communist China from January to March for China's handling of the coronavirus.

And finally- if Trump did such a great job- why does the United States have more deaths than any other country? Why does the United States have a much worse mortality rate than Canada, Germany and South Korea?

100,000 Americans dead so far- and Trump predicted there would soon be no cases in the United States- that is how you measure your Dear Leader's job performance?

CANADA??? How many subway systems, mass transit, intl airports, metropolitan areas? NY/NJ ALONE is about 35% of our dead..

South Korea??? --- Is not in the middle of a Baby Boomer peak medical crisis without the CVirus... Much YOUNGER population...

Why didn't you compare to France or Spain or Italy?

I'm thinking this is just another "fake analysis" opportunity to make the 23rd thread about how Trump did LESS to mitigate this than Big Bird de Blasio or SanFranNan or others who were telling folks there was NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.. Even in LATE february, early march...

You got no case just quoting stats and not thinking for yourself...

The United States is doing better than France, Spain or Italy.
And worse than Germany(the most populous country in Europe), worse than our neighbor Canada, and worse than South Korea.

I guess you can pat Trump on the back for at least doing better than Italy. How is that campaign slogan going to go? "The United States under Trump at least did better than Italy- we can't expect Trump to do as well as those Germans"

see the US on there? 5.9%.
Okay? We are doing better than Sweden and the UK.

And worse than Germany with a mortality rate of 4.6%.

I think we can congratulate Trump for not doing as bad as Sweden and the UK.

But I am baffled why you don't expect him to be able to do as well as Germany.

If I were a citizen of the UK, Spain, Italy and Ireland I certainly would judge my countries leadership on how well they are handling this crisis. And yes- I think we can look at how different countries handled this crisis and measure how our government handled compared to others.

Once again. You have nothing bad to say about the Chinese government who mislead the world.

This thread is not about the Communist Chinese government- but I certainly see that the Trumpkins certainly want to try to change the topic.

Here is what I think about the Chinese communist government- I think that they are dictatorial murderous assholes. I have never praised China for its handling of the Coronavirus pandemic- unlike Donald Trump who repeatedly praised China and its leadership for its handling of the pandemic. Feel free to try to find any post of mine that praises China like Trump did.

Somewhat off topic but its worth looking back again at how much Trump adored China- until he needed a scapegoat:
Jan. 24, Twitter:
“China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”
Jan. 29, Remarks at signing ceremony for the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement:
“And, honestly, I think, as tough as this negotiation was, I think our relationship with China now might be the best it's been in a long, long time. And now it's reciprocal. Before, we were being ripped off badly. Now we have a reciprocal relationship, maybe even better than reciprocal for us.”
Jan. 30, Fox News interview:
"China is not in great shape right now, unfortunately. But they're working very hard. We'll see what happens. But we're working very closely with China and other countries."
Feb. 7, Remarks at North Carolina Opportunity Now Summit in Charlotte, N.C.:
"I just spoke to President Xi last night, and, you know, we're working on the — the problem, the virus. It's a — it's a very tough situation. But I think he's going to handle it. I think he's handled it really well. We're helping wherever we can."
Feb. 7, Twitter:
“Just had a long and very good conversation by phone with President Xi of China. He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days … Great discipline is taking place in China, as President Xi strongly leads what will be a very successful operation. We are working closely with China to help!

Feb. 7, Remarks before Marine One departure:

"Late last night, I had a very good talk with President Xi, and we talked about — mostly about the coronavirus. They're working really hard, and I think they are doing a very professional job. They're in touch with World — the World — World Organization. CDC also. We're working together. But World Health is working with them. CDC is working with them. I had a great conversation last night with President Xi. It's a tough situation. I think they're doing a very good job.”

Feb. 10, Fox Business interview:

"I think China is very, you know, professionally run in the sense that they have everything under control," Trump said. "I really believe they are going to have it under control fairly soon. You know in April, supposedly, it dies with the hotter weather. And that's a beautiful date to look forward to. But China I can tell you is working very hard."

Feb. 10, campaign rally in Manchester, N.H.:

“I spoke with President Xi, and they’re working very, very hard. And I think it’s all going to work out fine.”

Feb. 13, Fox News interview:

“I think they've handled it professionally and I think they're extremely capable and I think President Xi is extremely capable and I hope that it's going to be resolved."

Feb. 18, remarks before Air Force One departure:

“I think President Xi is working very hard. As you know, I spoke with him recently. He’s working really hard. It’s a tough problem. I think he’s going to do — look, I’ve seen them build hospitals in a short period of time. I really believe he wants to get that done, and he wants to get it done fast. Yes, I think he’s doing it very professionally.”

Feb. 23, remarks before Marine One departure:

"I think President Xi is working very, very hard. I spoke to him. He's working very hard. I think he's doing a very good job. It's a big problem. But President Xi loves his country. He's working very hard to solve the problem, and he will solve the problem. OK?"

Feb. 26, remarks at a business roundtable in New Delhi, India:

“China is working very, very hard. I have spoken to President Xi, and they’re working very hard. And if you know anything about him, I think he’ll be in pretty good shape. They’re — they’ve had a rough patch, and I think right now they have it — it looks like they’re getting it under control more and more. They’re getting it more and more under control.”

Feb. 27, Coronavirus Task Force press conference:

“I spoke with President Xi. We had a great talk. He’s working very hard, I have to say. He’s working very, very hard. And if you can count on the reports coming out of China, that spread has gone down quite a bit. The infection seems to have gone down over the last two days. As opposed to getting larger, it’s actually gotten smaller.”

Feb. 29, Coronavirus Task Force press conference:

“China seems to be making tremendous progress. Their numbers are way down. … I think our relationship with China is very good. We just did a big trade deal. We’re starting on another trade deal with China — a very big one. And we’ve been working very closely. They’ve been talking to our people, we’ve been talking to their people, having to do with the virus.”

That's their fault and no one else's

Sort of the opposite of Harry Truman- Trump motto is 'the buck never stops here'

We are working closely with China to help!

They’ve been talking to our people, we’ve been talking to their people, having to do with the virus.”

Trump was going off of the numbers he was given just like everyone else. Once he found out China was lying then yes, things changed. Nothing wrong with Trump giving China encouragement publicly when he thought they were making a step in the right direction. Thats called diplomacy.
Countries like China are much easier to deal with when you give them a little praise publicly once in a while. why is that a hard concept for democrats?

Why you dumb PROG, a leftist qualification right? After all, you guys support dementia and a woman yet to be named to run shit.

I'm looking right at the numbers, Sweden's morality rate is lower than MOST OF EUROPE, and their cases per million is lower than MOST OF EUROPE. ILMAO at you bringing Canada to the table, their mortality rate is 7.73%, the USA us 5.85%.

Germany population is much less than the USA, where did you pull 30-40,000 USA cases from other than your ass?

So you cherry picked countries and still managed to fuck it up. Any chance you're college educated? They taught separation of powers State and Federal in high school, you completely missed that one.

Say PROG, your NYS governor sports 22% of USA cases with just 9% of the population, that Trump's fault too?

We cannot rely on the numbers coming out of lib cities - particularly NY - and transmitted by the CDC

They are liars

A lot of those people are dead because they ignored all precautions.

That's their fault and no one else's

Sort of the opposite of Harry Truman- Trump motto is 'the buck never stops here'
What's that got to do with people ignoring all precautions?

Did you not see all those idiots in FL during spring break?

Or all the idiots in a water park last weekend?

I’m curious, how many careless wetbacks and blacks do those countries foster?

About 25% of our citizens have a migration background. And lots of people from foreign nations live here too. About 40% of our children have parents with a migration background. And the average age of us Germans is higher than the average age of the citizens of the USA. So I guess in your way to see the world in theory more of us should die. But we don't do so. Here live not many people with a deep black skin - nevertheless the color of the skin is not a classification for a risk group here in Germany.
