Toddler Wounds Both Parents With 1 Shot From Handgun

Well, dear gun-owners. This thread is about stupidity of people who think that guns will save their lives.
Another toddler shoted his parents, lol.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say a 3-year-old boy got ahold of a handgun from his mother's purse and fired just one shot that wounded both his parents.
I'm still waiting for real arguments, not for "do you know how many people die in car accidents", etc.

Do lots of people just not watch the news? After the 2 year old shot and killed his mom you'd think people would be more careful.

Time to start jailing these parents, and publicizing the Hell out of it.

1.4 million toddlers a year use a gun to defend themselves. This story is so typical of the libral media.

No, this thread is about your desire to deny all people a constitutional right because of the stupidity of a few.

Do us all a favor and at least be honest...

so?.real numbers.....6-700 accidental gun deaths each year. Vs. 1.6 million times a year on average guns are used to stop violent criminal attack and save lives......

Can you do the math on those numbers....which is bigger?

and all by itself....6-700 accidental gun deaths in a country of about 320 million people....with at least 11.1 million carrying guns for protection.....

Again...do the math and tell me 6-700 accidental deaths by any means, in a country of at least 320 million people is a cause for concern......considering drowning kills 3,500 people a year.....I thre that in since you don't like the truthful comparison to car accidents......how about poisoning, or falls.....

and of course....it is those who understand the 2nd Amendment who push for gun safety training......and the anti gunners who fight gun safety training.....if there were even fewer gun accidents than there are now, they wouldn't have little bodies to drag in front of their allies in the democrat controlled news media...as they splash thru the puddles of blood in their haste to get media attention.....

1.6 million isn't a real number. You made it up Bill. And Kleck says based on his numbers most of them are criminals defending against criminals:
Kleck:
"This is true because DGUs typically involve criminal behavior, such as unlawful gun possession, by the gun-using victim, who therefore is often unwilling to report the incident."

I didn't make it up Brain...that is a lie....I took the average of these gun studies...conducted over a 40 year period, by both private and public researchers...including the anti gun clinton Justice Dept. and the anti gun obama CDC....add them...average them and you get roughly 1.6 million times that guns are used to stop violent criminal attack and save lives....vs....6-700 accidental gun deaths a year....

A quick guide to the studies and the numbers.....the full lay out of what was studied by each study is in the links....

And if the NCVS is most accurate you are off by 1.5 million. Notice the vastly different numbers each one has? If they were accurate they would all arrive at about the same number. They are however not accurate.

Cities are where most crime happens Bill. It's a lot of people packed into a small area.

Sorry Bill but most defenses are done by criminals. Kleck says so.
