Biden Has Lost It. The Last Synapse Has Popped

Sooooooo, let em vote for him...….and if by some strange chance he actually wins in November......you can bet that all the Dimwiits in office will be more like a comedy show of who's the dumbest. They've already brought the country to it's knees in ruin, what we've always known or thought even...

Biden Has Lost It. The Last Synapse Has Popped

I try not to judge the rest of the population by the dumbshits on this board, just because they have tunnel vision and I'm not saying there aren't plenty of them 'out there' either. I just don't know there's THAT many of them. But you are right that Biden will probably get 60 million votes and...

Biden Has Lost It. The Last Synapse Has Popped

I may be giving too much credit to the Dem voters, but I really doubt he's got that much support. Maybe drop a zero off that number (6mil), if that even. Though that may change when his VP is announced, and more than likely it's someone the DNC puts next to him because everyone knows he can't...

Might want to stock up on your favorite meat products

Yep, maybe even a pasta or marinara sauce......the acid in tomatoes helps tame the wild taste, so anything with tomatoes added will help

Might want to stock up on your favorite meat products

use it with heavy seasoned recipes that help mask the taste and/or with a sauce or gravy of some sort.....anything other than just straight up.

    Canning guidelines

I do agree...….but I've come to the conclusion that 'facts' don't matter as much as what people BELIEVE the 'facts' are. IF they believe it's the end of the world, you have to be able to go with the punches or you're going to be left behind when the world ends just because everyone thought it did.

    Canning guidelines

Yes....like yesterday. Stuff like gardening & canning equipment is going fast. IF you choose to grow anything in the mint family, you're better off planting in large pots that will contain the spread.

I'd suggest starting at Walmart, that would have a little of everything needed...…...hopefully. If not there, then a hardware store that has a gardening or plant nursery section. Even in lockdown, both are an essential business.

I had heard several years ago, that states overall taxes are about the same across the nation, the difference is just where & how they gouge the people, but sometimes I really wonder at the truth in that.. For instance, many states have a state income tax, but have fewer taxes on other stuff...

OK people, every darned one of ya pay less for gas than I do here. Just today I passed a station that was $2.39 for regular and even though it was a more expensive station, it usually runs about .20 more than the cheaper places...….so we're still over $2 per gallon, no matter where ya go. And I...

How much to grow per person......

Yes, my kids would always go to the garden for their lunch or snacks and I was lucky to find enough for a meal after they'd been thru. Agreed that it's all hard work and can be an expensive investment upfront...….but if you're able & willing to put in the effort, there are ways to make it...

    Canning guidelines

If you are considering learning how to can foods, you need to know the best methods to keep your family safe & well fed. Things like botulism can make you sick or even kill you. But don't let that scare you from doing it, you just have to be very careful, keep everything clean & sanitized...

How much to grow per person......

Even if you do have a garden but space is limited...….another option to get more from it, is to plant some crops in succession. Cool weather crops planted in early spring are usually done producing around mid to late summer. Once harvested, clean and amend the area and plant it again for a fall...

How much to grow per person......

Even if you don't have the garden space to grow all the vegetables you need, you can still plant a few things in pots either on a balcony, step or even inside. Tomatoes, peppers & herbs especially, maybe even cucumbers or squash if you dare. There are some 'bush' varieties, that don't sprawl. It...

    Why no thread on cooking?

Basic meatball recipes are pretty much the same as meatloaf........burger, maybe mixed with ground pork, onion, eggs, bread crumbs, salt & pepper. You could always add in some mild Italian sausage (or hot if you wanted) to give it more 'Italian' flair

Food Shortages? Time for Trump to Announce New Victory Gardens and Urban Food Forests Push

That heirloom seed industry isn't all that minuscule as you might think. It's a big business in its own right. Many seed distributers whether heirloom or not, have signed what's called the 'Seed Safe Pledge' that none of their seed is GMO. Which also means it's not Terminator seed, that only...
