Welcome to 2024.Apparently the employees at VW in Chattanooga have decided to turn over the plant to the wise guys.
This is definitely bad news for Volkswagen, and they will no longer be able to display the non-union label in a country where 94% of shoppers are Scabs.
However, it is good news for the sellers of barrels and picket signs, as the future for the VW employees will be out on the sidewalk burning wood to keep warm.
Welcome to 2024.
here's hoping your trip to 1955 was enjoyable and that your really didn't do your...
No they'll be here in 2024.The VW employees in Chattanooga will be in 1955 permanently, or at least as long as the company remains in business.
1955 was the apex of unionism in America.
What with the higher wages and better benefits and all. . .The UAW has been bad for workers.
How are you so certain that UAW is going to deliver? What with the higher wages and better benefits and all. . .
Some just hate working people. Hard to understand that mentality. If a group of average workers gets higher pay it upsets some. Why? What is it that is so upsetting about a group of workers? How are you so certain that UAW is going to deliver?
We shall, of course see.
I will be higher wages for those who get the no-show "jobs" that the union will be demanding.
But for ordinary workers?
Well, they will see. The unionized steelworkers in Youngstown haven't been doing so well lately.

Like the ceo? Some people are jealous of those with no show "jobs" because they don't like to have to work themselves and would love to be in a position of leisure, hanging out at the Italian Club with their other organizers and business agents.
It is the union bosses that use the worker's pension money to fund their exhorbinant lifestyles. Some just hate working people. Hard to understand that mentality. If a group of average workers gets higher pay it upsets some. Why? What is it that is so upsetting about a group of workers?

Management is never to blame. It’s always the workers fault.Conditions at work are such that the workers weren't satisfied so they voted as they did. Perhaps the management has a good share of the blame.
You mean laid off, and factories moved out of the country, right? What with the higher wages and better benefits and all. . .
Well the managers can't be to blame, because it's their property.Management is never to blame. It’s always the workers fault.
You gotta love the right and their “fuck the workers” mentality.Well the managers can't be to blame, because it's their property.
Name something at the VW plant, that the workers paid for? The building? The machines? The assembly line? The products? They tools they use? The utilities? The materials? The parts?
Nothing. The workers have invested absolutely nothing. Everything that is there, is there because the owners of VW paid for it to be there.
Why do you think you have a right to dictate anything to the company, when they paid for everything you have, and you paid for absolutely nothing whatsoever?
