As longs as the "spoiler effect" can be leveraged to frighten voters into falling in line and voting for one of the two major parties, the Ds and Rs will dominate.

Ranked Choice Voting neutralizes the spoiler effect and makes the "lesser-of-two-evils" sales pitch irrelevant. It's happening locally, all over the country. Hopefully it will eventually bubble up to federal elections. But time is not on our side. It probably won't happen soon enough.
