This movie, one of the most incredible I have ever seen, makes a strong case that Christianity is a pagan religion, brought into the mainstream because of political reasons. It also creates a strong case for 911 being a conspiracy and is about the central bank, and connects the dots in way that makes everything seem like it just makes sense.

Zeitgeist is a great movie. But the OP leaves the impression that it's ONLY about religion, it isn't.

It's also about the Federal Reserve and how the Fractional Reserve Banking System is the biggest scam in the history of man.

I show it to anyone who'll watch and I highly recommend it!

You know who else thought Zeitgeist is great movie?

Zeitgeist Was The Gas On Laughner's Fire? (GMA)

That is such a crock of shit. That is the corporate/government run news media trying to make an enemy out of film that threatens the state. That is fucking obviously what is happening. How pathetic. Blaming a killing on a film. That film has enlightened SO many. They didn't go killing people. Perhaps he was just mentally unbalanced. If it wasn't Zeitgeist, it would have been Machiavelli, if it wasn't Machiavelli, it would have been Nietzsche. He was searching for something to leverage himself against a society he hated and felt apart and separated from. Zeitgeist offered that in easiest form, but he would have found something else were it not available. He was in pain, and needed respite. I can understand this. This man was obviously very troubled psychologically. The anti-establishment message founding in Zeitgeist was probably validating for a person who felt ostracized from society.
This is speculation, but is a sentiment I can relate to, as I often feel very seperated from society myself, and see it as arbitrary, and this film helps put it in a perspective that makes total sense, with facts to back it up, and I myself found it validating for me, to feel okay in myself, and not feel like I need to be like everybody else to be okay. I am sure it does this for a lot of people, including this kid. He just happened to take it to an extreme, and felt the need to kill people to express emotions he could not control- anger, hatred, fear, beyond his understanding, and which probably caused him great suffering. I still think this is OBVIOUS corporate news networks using propoganda to turn popular opinion against a film/idea that threatens it.

Zeitgeist exposes too much truth, too easily. It connects the dots in a way that presents a narrative that can't be denied.

Because some kid who killed people was inspired by it, if that is even true, has no bearing on the validity and truth of the film itself. It doesn't indicate anything about the film, only the boy.

"Over the last year or so a number of people have told me that I should watch the film Zeitgeist: The Movie. All of these people have been lefties or liberals, and each tells me that the film supplies a good exposé of power in the modern world. These people have been from a wide range of backgrounds and ages, some of them environmentalists, some of them unionists, some of them socialists, some British, some American.

The film has achieved massive viewing figures globally, with over 3,000,000 people having watched it on Youtube, and many more on DVD or Google Video. And of all of these people who have recommended the film to me, none has noticed its reliance on the old myth of the “world Jewish conspiracy”.

In this article I hope to expose the film’s relationship to older anti-Semitic texts and myths, and look more closely at how these theories are made to look left-wing or liberal."

Charles Manson also said the Beatles' "White Album" was one of his influences. I like the White Album too. Would you say that I'm like Charles Manson?
The Influence of the Beatles on Charles Manson

How about you go watch the flick (Zeitgeist) and then comeback here and tell us what you thought about it?

No, what I am actually saying is the movie Zeitgeist is only intelligible to nutcases.

Thank you for proving the point of my previous post.

Those who either want to believe these conspiracy theories, or those not bright or willing enough to research and find the truth.

I wonder know why this post isn't in the conspiracy theories sub forum.

Probably because none of the mods have even tried to watch that film.

Than the movie is a lie.
That's not even a sentence.

There you go again, attacking someone on their typos. What about yours?

It's our soldiers are fighting for.

This is not a sentence either now is it? It should be 'It's what our soldiers are fighting for.' You missed a complete word in that sentence. Do you want me to find more of your typos?

Stop attacking people on their spelling or typos, you do it too. Attacking them is not going to make you look any better.

I especially like the first parts of it which documented the similarities in mythology between the Jesus story and other similar such stories.

After that I think it sort of fell apart and went into conspiracy land.

Now I like a good conspiracy theory, but I object to theories that lack evidence to fully support them.

Conjecture does not equal FACT.

Reality is subjective

Perception is subjective.

Reality is a myth.

Oh reality probably exists but none of us are every really going to get a handle on it.

Some of us might have a toehold on it, at best.

I correct myself,

'our perception of reality is subjective.'

There is an objective reality right before us, but I believe it is far beyond our understanding. We only take in what we can, what we can handle, I believe.

If we could all be more humble, and stop asserting our inherently subjective viewpoints and opinions as being objective, our species would be more successful.

Reality is subjective
Uh, say what?

Subjective. Existing in the mind; belonging to the thinking subject rather than to the object of thought.
So what your saying is that if it's raining outside but I believe that it really isn't, when I go outside I won't get wet?

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see your post.
