I'm going to assume the OP means christians.
Humans made up a christian god based on various other gods so, to that extent, he exists.
But as a magical, temperamental tyrant who punishes people with all sorts of vicious troubles - disease, pain, murders children, unleashes floods and stuff, of course not.
He was created to explain what was, at that time, the unexplain-able.
If you're talking about Jesus, some say he existed, some disagree. If he did, he was not "christian" and undoubtedly believed it the gods that were popular at the time. It was later than humans found a convenient need for him.
