Your 4 Greatest Rock Guitarists of All Time

Jimi Hendrix
Eric Clapton
Slash
Pete Townshend (Windmill time )

Honorable Mentions:
Bob Dylan
Jimmy Page
Angus Young

I'm surprised no love for Slash, Dylan, and Pete so far. Glad to see someone mentioned Angus and glad to see so many Derek and the Dominos fans.

Clapton is easily a given and Layla had to be my favorite DD hit.

Though my favorite tune where Clapton plays guitar?

While my guitar gently weeps with George Harrison. Originally a beatles song too.

Oh and Hendrix was a guitar god, the things that man could do with a guitar even outside of music will never be matched.

Slash was and probably is one of the best guitarists I've seen. Two words, November Rain

Two kick-ass guitar solos in this song by Slash.

A fund raiser for his book, "Kill it and Grill it" perhaps?

Wonder why he would be putting on a concert in an elementary school?

No Hendrix? Come one now he is #1 and #2 is far far away!

When I was working, we used to have a music poll in the office. I want to see if it would work here.

I always liked to watch Hendrix play the "Star Spangled Banner" with his teeth, it was incredible.

I actually checked that book out. Looked like it would be some good food in there. He is quite a marksman with the bow & arrow.

Ted Nugent songs are great to teach beginning guitarists because they are so easy to play. :eusa_shhh:

He used to challenge other guitarists to a duel. Shawn Lane took him up on it and Ted had to walk off the stage. Of course, Shawn was always in a league by himself.
