Young American prefer socialism to capitalism

Of course we do. Capaitialism has fucked our generation over.
Has fucked your generation over? Exactly how? There are more jobs now then there has been in many years. Your taxes are lower then almost any country. With socialism you could be looking at a 50% income tax. How is giving half of your income to the government better? Why is it that most countries those that holler and scream about being perfect examples of socialism are turning more toward capitalistic policies?

The U.S. has helped win two world wars and helped rebuild Europe.
The U.S. has placed men on the moon.
The U.S. has supplied the largest amount of entertainment to the world in the form of movies, tv, music, and even video games.
The U.S. has been one of the first responders to worldwide disasters.
The U.S. has produced the largest part of scientific advances in the last 75 years.

How many socialist countries or even largely socialist countries have had that big of an impact?

More jobs because you need to have multiple jobs just to make a decent living. Wages haven't kept up with inflation.

People are working full time but still can't make a living.

Some are. This is not however, something new.

The Gallup report, which was published on August 13, details American attitudes on socialism and capitalism. The results specifically identified that positive attitude towards socialism amongst millennials. The majority of Americans, aged 18 to 29, now prefer socialism to capitalism.

Report: Young Americans Prefer Socialism to Capitalism

What else do you expect from a gernation of leftist trendy idiots who lets their kids raise themselve, and now have grandkids so gawd dam spoiled, and so gawd dam in considerate of others they make you want to puke.
Wait until reality hits these commie loving skanks....... It is so, so sad we can't round this trash up and ship them to a country where it really is communistic. We sure in the hell wouldn't let skanks like you because, don't deserve freedom .
We live in the Information Age now. Even the poor in remote villages have cell phone access.

The youth in any First World economy grew up learning capitalism failed in 1929 and had to get bailed out by socialism.

Only the right wing, lives in right wing capital fantasy.

Capitalism did not fail in 1929, but the gov't did by their failure to properly manage the stock market. Same as it did again in 2007. And only a complete fool thinks that socialism had anything to do with the resurgence of the US economy after the Great Depression. After 10 years of FDR's absolute failures to resuscitate the US economy, WWII came along. But it wasn't until the war was over and the troops came back to work that CAPITALISM got our economy going, along with the rest of the industrialized world. Socialism didn't have a damn thing to do with it.

lol. In other words, the left merely needs to learn how to use Capitalism, for all of its capital worth, in modern times. Everybody knows, the right wing is clueless and Causeless about economics.

We have a mixed-market economy, not a pure capital economy.

What's so funny, Tehon? What was funny about my posting?

Do you disagree with something? Speaketh.
Sorry, I thought it was funny that you would suggest there is no difference between capitalism and socialism.

I understand that you believe the distinction lies in the market, it is just not true. The distinction lies in production.

You have been busy listening to that clueless youth that you are useing for an avatar.

First off there is nothing wrong with working two jobs. Second you are not going to be offered the CEO job just out of college.
If you could learn to make do without the newest iPhone, a brand new SUV, a flat screen tv the size of a wall you can live rather well on one job.

If we did not have so many willing to work for less then minimum wage then the wages would go up. Some jobs were not meant as a carrer choice they were meant as a starting job only. The more jobs that are created that are not filled as we have now will increase wages as companies try to fill those jobs.

You also need to understand that a bachelors degree in basket weaving is not a guarantee of a high paying job.

In what way? Hoover Dam is hard at work, producing, every single day.

State Capitalism is a form of socialism. Only the right wing, doesn't know that, due to all of their nationalist trees.

Merely resorting to the Other peoples' money.

In a true democracy your understanding might have more merit.

If liberty and equality, as is thought by some are chiefly to be found in democracy, they will be best attained when all persons alike share in the government to the utmost.
