1. LONGVIEW, Wash. - Hundreds of Longshore workers stormed the Port of Longview, overpowered security guards, damaged rail cars and dumped grain at the center of a labor dispute that has spread to Seattle and Tacoma ports, officials said Thursday.

Six guards were detained for a couple of hours after 500 or more Longshoremen broke down gates about 4:30 a.m. and smashed windows in the guard shack, said Longview Police Chief Jim Duscha.

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union believes it has the right to work at the facility, but the company has hired a contractor that's staffing a workforce of other union laborers.

In Seattle and Tacoma, a wildcat strike shut down both ports after hundreds of Longshore workers failed to show up for work on Thursday.

Obama has been for sale from the git go. I don't think he has ever wanted a second term as long as he can make it big in 4 years and he is well on his way. And to further comment on the thug-nature of this Chicago Pol and his boys, Holder recently raided the Gibson Guitar Company...supposedly because it imported wood illegally.(No prostitute jokes here.)

But the subtext seems to be that Republican donors beware...

Dock workers behave as thugs...-> the union's leader is Trumka...-> Obama honors Trumka by inviting him to the speech...-> Obama, same with Immelt...-> Immelt as head of Obama's job council, ships jobs over to China, and hands over technology that can be used in jet figters, as well.
