"You can't be a democrat and go to heaven"

Puritans and Pilgrims did. Mormons did.

Stupid evangelicals in this town keep trying to establish during county, cit, and school elections, we keep kicking them in the face.

Yelling Chicken, you are only squawking.

Yelling Chicken, that is what religious people do when they get a chance.

you are ASSUMING that a religious person would establish theocracy.....

what a lying liberal....most Americans are Christians......have they established theocracy.....over the last 200 years....?

That was not a reply, it was an exclamation. You have nothing but insults in your arsenal.

The Mythical "Wall of Separation": How a Misused Metaphor Changed Church

Just more NaziCon nonsense from The Heritage Foundation.

We are all familiar with the concept that rights carry responsibility, religious freedom carries with it the responsibility to respect the beliefs of others in the public arena and not try to force your particular brand of morality on the rest of us. Look at who wants these rights without the responsibility of protecting these same rights in others.

Your kind earned every bit though your efforts to turn the wall of seperation into a one way door to christian domination of secular policy.

the "wall of SEPARATION" never existed.....Thomas Jefferson was very religious in public life....

Not really but that is beside the point, you like the part where the government cannot touch your organizations through regulation or taxation but hate the part that says that your organization cannot directly be a political organization. You want to be protected from secular authority as usual but you do not want secular authority to be protected from you, you do not want the rest of the country to enjoy freedom FROM your twisted ideas of morality.

it seems to me that Obama is actively "touching" religious organizations with his Obamacare.....isn't that SECULAR authority overstepping ITS bounds and imposing ITS twisted ideas of morality.....?

secularism does not responsibly respect the beliefs of others in the public arena....

Christian zealots have little tolerance for Atheists or other religions. It's their way or the highway.

That's one for the lawyers to decide I guess, personally I couldn't care less, I can see the debate over abortion but expanding that kind of shit into contraception is nothing short of medieval insanity.

Does fine by me, it's just you people who want to outlaw everything that is fun or naughty in your view that has a problem with it.

there's a lot more going on than just this issue......Obama and the Democrats are attempting to establish "The State" as the overriding authority in America.....over our 'endowed rights'.....

have you ever wondered why BO always refers to "freedom of worship" rather than "freedom of religion"......?

Liberal? I am a Republican mainstream Christian.

You are no conservative. American Christians are overwhelming not evangelical or fundamentalist heretics.

We want no part of your political nonsense.

Yelling Chicken, that is what religious people do when they get a chance.

pornography has been a bone of contention for some time now....

just because you have the right to it does not mean you have the right to make the rest of us...including children.....be exposed to your filth and depravity via every media outlet possible...

Not a big porn consumer so you will not hear me really defending it but I do not see it unless I go looking for it, your idea of porn must be somewhat different than mine.

A Kentucky teacher is being criticized for writing a politically charged statement on the whiteboard in class.

South Laurel County High School teacher Kendra Baker is drawing complaints from parents and students after she wrote, "You can't be a democrat and go to heaven."

More: Kendra Baker, Kentucky Teacher, Under Fire For 'Can't Be A Democrat And Go To Heaven' Statement

Unless that is a private religious school she needs to be fired immediately.
It was a comment that a STUDENT made and she wrote it on the board.

How do you know she wasn't opening class discussion about such a comment?

Otherwise, boring, but leave it to the HuffyPuffy Fluffers to become breathless and hyperventilate about it.
