As to the point. Only about 10000 people a year die to gunshot wounds that are classified as murder. Lets do the math shall we? Over 300 million people in the US, or if you prefer about 300 million guns in private hands. Now do the math as to what percentage of people die due to illegal use of a fire arm. Then compare that to the 40000 that die each year in car accidents.
