Yet Another Educator Of Young Minds

Why do you deflect from why this guy is teaching young minds?

Because, dumbass, he is a fucking college professor and last time I checked, no one forced anyone at gunpoint to sit and listen to that idiot spout the same type of ignorance that you do every day on this forum!
Topic is lousy educators, and once again you leap in head first to deflect the topic.

You dove headfirst into cherry picking one dumbass communist. Whose fault was that?

No cherry picking required. Known fact most college professors are hardcore leftists.

And.....
Fact remains every teachers union supports hardcore leftists. Going to claim teachers have no control over their own Union now?

Not a fact, unless you can prove it. Have fun! I spent 9 years in college and had ONE leftist professor in my undergraduate years and one in graduate school. Both were very upfront about it, and I regularly destroyed them in classroom discussions. Since you were probably a high school dropout judging by your lack of reasoning skills, poor reading comprehension, and general odious personality, I want to know why you can pontificate about college you never attended?.

You are talking college professors and then bring up teachers unions. Are you so desperate to show your stupidity you can't keep on topic in your own thread?
Now you deny teachers unions always support Democrats.

Yep. Your inability to care about children compiled with your ability to lie drives home my point of how bad educators are today.

This is who they hire:

A New York professor is calling for the abolition of grades. He claims they are not only unfair to students, but that they are a means of propping up capitalism, and as such, academia would be better off doing away with grading entirely.

“Grading takes up much of my time that could be better spent on teaching or otherwise directly interacting with students,” New School professor Richard Wolff wrote in a Monday op-ed entitled “Grades Are Capitalism in Action. Let’s Get Them Out of Our Schools.” He claims the practice of administering grades to students has “little educational payoff” and “disrespects [students] as thinking people.”

Wolff has been known to promote Marxism and condemn capitalism, even going so far as to blame capitalism for American homelessness. More recently, he made headlines by comparing President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler on Twitter.

The commies-socialists (and their pet libtards) have not only infiltrated, but usurped control of, the entire public school system from kindergarten through college. These are now the factories mass-producing SJWs, NPCs, and similar leftist vermin via indoctrination and brainwashing...with their propaganda continuously reinforced by Hollyweird and the MSM....while any dissident voices are quickly silenced by their Comrades at Google, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, etc.

Well here's the thing...

Regardless of whether grades are issued, it would be mandatory to have the students demonstrate in some way that they have learned the course material for which they have paid (and for which the instructor has been paid).

This would require some sort of a test. Manifestly.

So maybe it's a pass/fail test and there are no grades. And the student cannot be recognized as having completed the course until s/he passes the test or series of tests.

In BUSINESS, when you take a compulsory class from your employer or a training consultant, you take a test on a pass/fail basis (at least that was my experience), and everything is fine.

This professor may be a Marxist, but what he is proposing is not outrageous at all. It's an alternative approach. One that is often used outside academe, and it works fine.

That's a stupid reason to get rid of grades. A really stupid reason.

Our students need to be assessed but I agree that there might be better ways to assess them in some instances than "grades". For instance in business, you either get the sale or you don't. If you're a musician, you either sell albums and tickets or you do not. Etc. They are all means of assessment, but they're not grades per se.
