I agree that the 2nd Amendment was put into place to give the citizens the ability fight back against oppression from their own govt. But what will stockpiling assault rifles really gain you? Let me interject here quickly that if the military establishment told their soldiers that you were the enemy and they should analilate you, the soldiers would do so without hesitation.
So what would you face if you decided to rebel against a tyranny govt? Tanks, helicopters, drones and aircraft. What will your assault rifles do for you?
