More and more researchers are looking into what now seems a substantial link between induced abortions and later premature births. Being born prematurely is no small thing in a person's life. Premature infants, even those born a mere few weeks early, bear a startling increase in a set of disabilities known by the acronym MACE. This cluster of disorders includes mental retardation, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy.

Very preterm newborns (under 32 weeks' gestation) have 55 times the Cerebral Palsy risk as do full-term (at least 37 weeks) babies. Reproductive system infections in the mother have a known high risk for causing preterm births. Reproductive system infections are the most common complication of induced abortion, whether in the first trimester or later in the pregnancy.

Imagine a young woman walking unsuspectingly into an abortion "clinic," and soothingly reassured that though she has chosen to "terminate" her first pregnancy, she ought have no fears whatsoever about future fertility or the well-being of future siblings of the little one she is about to have killed. This is precisely what happens. Right here. Right now.

EDIT: COPYRIGHT COMPLIANCE

Abortions result in increased chances of cervical cancer and reduced chances of conception.

But, Abortion is a Liberal Womans' Religious Sacrament.

That is total bullshit. :cuckoo:
Women kill more people through abortion than Terrorism does.

Why Abortion Is the Sacrament of Feminism | Denny Burk
Frederica Mathewes-Green explains why abortion remains the sacrament of feminism. The fact that she was once an ardent feminist herself makes her perspective quite compelling. She argues that feminists sought to be equal to men with respect to having a career and having a promiscuous sex-life. The main obstacle to those two goals was the possibility of a pregnancy. So abortion became the necessary condition for careerism and promiscuity. Women could not have complete sexual and professional freedom without unfettered access to abortion on demand.
Must, Kill, Babies!

nonsense...

you can't even govern yourselves and you want to tell others what to do?

you don't give a damn about the women.

You're pretty blase about the serious health risks.

But then, these are disposable women, just as their babies are disposable. Nobody cares about them. At least not those who think it's okay to put them at risk for the sake of constructing the "perfect" population of people.

The most appalling thing I discovered while researching this article is the fact that the most common method of abortion in use in America today, vacuum aspiration, was never even tested on any primate animal subjects before being adopted wholesale by the worldwide medical community. For those who don't know, this failure to animal test first is a serious contravention of the Nuremberg Code, adopted in the aftermath of the Holocaust.

The vacuum aspiration (VA) device and technique was pioneered by Chinese doctors, who published their study on the device's effectiveness in 1958 (translated into English and made available by the British Medical Journal in 2008). The Chinese doctors tested their newfangled device for killing babies in utero on 300 women under state control; no animal studies were ever done. Ever. And the entire Western world of so-called excellent and humane medicine never bothered to do any animal studies either. "

All medical procedures have risks. All of them. This is nothing new.

Well what is different is the long term effects. If it doesn't kill you outright, you have a really good chance (3x more than a woman who hasn't had an abortion) of getting cancer. You are at exponentially increased risk of dying of homicide (remember, abortion is used to cover crime), or giving birth to a premature baby down the road.

But the industry doesn't want you to know that. So they promote it, and tout it as a "safe" procedure, downplaying the risks. What makes me sick is women who claim to be about "women's rights" play right along. Because they don't recognize that women getting abortions have the right to know, and they don't recognize that they have value to begin with, so count the "risks" as acceptable. Risk is always acceptable when it's somebody else's.

I thought we were talking in big?

Yes, and that is relevant how? Does that negate the risks?

How do you feel about risky medical procedures on 15 year old girls without their mother's permission? Let's say...breast augmentation. How would you feel about a surgeon who provided that service to a girl on the sly?

Reality is something that liberals don't like.

I have known more than a few women that have had multiple abortions. One finally had a baby because she was told that this was her last chance.

Ask yourself this question. Why is it that so many doctors who perform abortions ALSO have significant interests in fertility clinics to treat women that are infertile because of abortions?

there are no "serious health risks". and if there are any, they are outweighed by the risks of pregnancy.... or of seeking illegal termination of a pregnancy.

you do know that's what used to happen during the dark ages. right?

of course, roe v wade is law, just like heller is law

so you'll have to cope.

and i'd suggest three threads on the same subject in a 24 hour period on a subject that isn't really a current one is kind of showing a little hysteria, hon.

Works for me..... c-section it out and give it all the rights you want.

Because that's so much less risky to the mother than delivery.

last time i checked...having babies is risky.....people still die having babies...seem this reproduction thing is a total risky business....

abortion is big business.....most are chemical now.....400 bucks for two pills
