The first black hole was discovered in 1971 and there have been a number of others discovered since then. If you were an avid fan of astronomy
you would realize that up until now black holes were always a matter of theory and speculation. There was some evidence that they existed but it was all circumstantial.
The debate has been raging for the past seventy years ever since Einstein predicted their existence. This photograph today is one more than vindication of Einstein's brilliance.
Of course it's not a typical photograph taken with an optical camera. However the end result is every bit the photograph they claim it to be and then some.
Every detail of that picture fits the description of a black hole such as Einstein imagined it to be some 70 to 80 years ago in his mathematical musings.

When Weeler invented the name "black hole", French physicists strongly objected because that was the phrase the French use to refer to certain parts of the anatomy. I don't know if it refers to that part that only women have, or the other orifice that both genders have.
