My son is going into the Air Force to work on the most advanced aircraft in the world. With his skills and training when he gets out he will be able to work on robots and computers without owing a dime to college tuition. Thus making him very valuable to those who will be using robotics. Shame people today are too stupid to realize that they need to adapt to the situation or become extinct like Beto Bailey(Hands) from Texas has claimed(not from GW). Yeah, give everyone a BSI and no one will work, until the government "at the point of a gun" forces everyone to work. USSR and East Germany did that, look how well that went over.

Ok, so $12K a year. That’s probably about my average OT per year. Thst would mean I no longer have any incentive to work any OT thst isn’t contractually required, thus reducing my productivity.

That $1K a month is roughly 25% of my monthly take home pay. That would allow me to take a lower level job that doesn’t utilize my skills as much as my current one does. Again reducing my productivity.
