Yabba Dabba Don't! San Fransisco suing resident over "Flinstones House"

We have several mansions in the "fancy sections" of Nashville that don't fit in.. And folks here are even more nosey and pushy about conformity by far.. But they don't get sued.. Just shunned...

The town is Hillsborough and the flintstone house has been there since about 1970.

But NOT -- looking like that. It WAS a plain adobe structure when I was there in the 90s/00s... With NO "flintstone theme".. It's visible from the freeway tho.. She did go "over the edge" pimping it out... LOL....
It has always been called the flintstone house since it was built. The man who built it wanted it that way.

Tax Man Not quite. This is what the house LOOKED like up until at LEAST 2005 and the progression to today...

The original owner just went along with "the Flintstone House" thing.. THe subsequent owners took it literally and way too far...

Notice the rainbow? Lol

It never rains in California... So you NEED a metal rainbow. LOL....

Did ya notice how scruffy and dry that property looked back in its simpler days. And how lush and green and grown-up all that background vegetation is today??? Thought GW/CChange was KILLING California...

Must be that extra 80ppm of CO2 fertilizer in the atmosphere since then... :113:

There's a new underwater restaurant in Norway...go to the financial times instagram to see pics of it!

a related item from Forbes. let's EXPAND the conversation here:

"Morgan Freeman converted his 124-acre ranch into a giant honeybee sanctuary to save the bees. The 81-year-old actor, film director and philanthropist and now beekeeper, began his new hobby in 2014 - stating his motivation was that they are the foundation of the growth of the planet. Freeman imported 26 bee hives from Arkansas to his ranch in Mississippi. There, Freeman works to feed the bees sugar and water and has help planting bee-friendly magnolia trees, lavender, clover, etc. Last fall, the Trump Administration rolled back bans on the use of bee-killing pesticides. While there is no evidence that bees are going to become extinct anytime soon, the decline of bee populations will continue to have ripple effects on wild vegetation and agricultural crops around the world."

"Flintstones" house has been declared a "public nuisance" by the California town of Hillsborough.

It’s tacky, but the town suing her is a crock of shit. They should focus their energy on things that really matter.

HIllsborough is not San Francisco, by the way. It's incorporated into San Mateo county south of SF
and it's loaded with money there!
