Yep.....about 16 other states already allow some form of carry on their campuses....and I believe Utah has had it since 1997...
Wyoming School District Votes To Arm Teachers
The school board of the Cody School District voted 4-2 to pass Policy CKA, permitting district personnel to allow employees under contract with the school district to carry a concealable firearm on school property if they can pass background checks, a psychological suitability exam and 24 hours of initial training.
This was the third reading of the policy. Three changes were implemented after the second reading: to raise the minimum amount of recurring training required from 12 to 18 hours after the initial 24 hours of training; to delineate more precisely what would be included in training, including training with the non-dominant hand and working with barriers; and to schedule a comprehensive review of the policy after two years.
