Look we have laws and the laws have punishments. Why do these judges insist on creating new punishments for something ridiculous. This woman is a piece of shit. So put her in jail for the maximum that is allowed an be done with it. Don't send her into the woods with only water and no food. The precedent this kind of thing sets is ridiculous.

I dunno. I like creative punishments. By breaking the mold, you grab the offenders attention. Often this worlds idiots are frozen in stasis. They do the same thing, to the same effect, over and over. I would have chained her to a tree.

Here's story from OKC thats a good example of a parent being creative.

Girl Made To Wear Sign As Punishment

Edmond, OK (AHN) - Tasha Henderson was so fed up her daughter's poor grades, chronic lateness to class and disrespect toward teachers that she decided to teach the girl a lesson.

I agree with Pegwinn. I like creative punishments. They get a lot of media attention and may deter others. Fines and probation don't seem to mean much anymore, and jail time may be too harsh.

I like when parents are creative.

Judges have punishments they need to give as a matter of law. I think they should obey the law. If the law gives them lattitude then by all means go and be creative but if not listen to the will of the people.
