This was quoted from the OP and needs to be addressed, free-fall acceleration requires that there be NO resistance, not "negligible" resistance from structural members that are bending, buckling, needing to be pushed by the falling mass, the falling mass is doing NOTHING except falling. This is the critical bit, it is NOT imperative to know what sort of cutting devices or explosives were used to create this effect, it is clear enough that the effect had to have been the product of an engineered demolition.

The fact that NIST has provided ZERO support for the single point of failure argument, and note that the first to assert a given argument is also the first one who should supply a foundation for their argument. The mainstream media was the first to voice the collapse scenario and so far they have produced nothing that supports this assertion.

Please note that the assertion of CD is supported by the evidence, given the fact that the North & West walls of WTC7 were observed descending at Free-Fall Acceleration + dropping straight down & keeping its shape as it fell, how can anyone expect either a single point of failure &or chaotic fires & damage to produce exactly this result? Really, there is zero support for the Fires & Damage argument because random events do NOT produce neat & orderly results such as observed in the case of WTC7.
