wrong section

What's the best way to let the mods/Gunny know something is in the wrong section? i.e. something belongs in the conspiracy zone.

report the post?
send IM to mod?
say it in the thread?

Either of the first two work the fastest, reporting allows whichever is paying attention to notice but the PM/IM works to if the one you send it to is online.
