The Rev. Jeremiah Wright, whose racially charged sermons engulfed Barack Obama's presidential campaign in controversy last spring, will speak here Thursday night.

Wright, retired senior pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ, in Chicago, and Obama's former pastor, will discuss issues with the Rev. John C. Rankin, an evangelical scholar and founder of the Hartford-based Theological Education Institute, at a forum titled, "The Bible, Race and American History: What are the Issues?"

Before you shape your opinions about this man, I challenge you to watch his entire speeches, not the portions only foxnews shows you. When you watch his speeches, in their entirety, then you can form an opinion about this man. He has SEVERAL very good points such as:

The genocide on the American Indians
The genocide committed on tens of thousands of Japanese civilians during world war 2
The slavery of the Africans
The support of Israel with the slaying of thousands of Arab Palestinians

Combined, America is responsible the deaths of millions of innocent people and we never blinked an eye. Yet when 3,000 innocent people from America die... well, the world must stop.

This is when he said "America's chickens.... are coming home... to roost." Then he went on to talk about how he saw 9/11 happen before his eyes as he was in downtown Manhattan. How much empathy he had for the victims who died. And he said that God gives us times and chances in our lives to self reflect and 9/11 is an opportunity for us to stop and think and to self reflect.

Now, if you can put aside your hatred for this guy and listen to his message, listen to what he's saying... he does have a point. He's not dismissing the thousands of lives that were lost... he feels horrible about them. But he says it is America's actions that have brought this on ourselves. Can you actually sit down and think about that, Paperboy? Is America 100% perfect and the rest of the world 100% wrong? We sold biological and chemical weapons to Iraq during the 1980s. We're responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iranians. And yet when the Iranians support proxy fighters against our soldiers when we're in Iraq, they're evil, disgusting soulless human beings?

I bet you didn't know that the American Indians had slaves. African American slaves.
