I would have no issue at all with voting for a Catholic for president as long as he wasn't a butt pilot.

Most of our presidents, to my knowledge, have belonged to one religion or another. We also have separation of church and state, which should always be adhered to. The only religions I would oppose are those see no separation between government and religion, such as the Muslim leaders.

The guide for elected officials is the constitution and bill of rights. Period. If a person cannot abide by that, they should not be president or a member of congress.
