The proper context would be respect for the Office of POTUS.
Libs and Obama supporters have tried to change the narrative. They have laid down the idea that if one opposes Obama's policies, they must dislike or even hate Obama.

It would be nice to be able to respect the president. The only way I would love the president is if it was my wife or one of my other family members.
