I would not. I wouldn't stop them or admonish them against doing so, but neither would I encourage them to do so. I'm not going into the "whys and wherefores," mainly because I'm not interested in knowing anyone else's. I just want a "yes" or "no," not a "maybe." You figure out whether, based on all you know about this forum and others similar to it, whether your answer is predominantly "yes" or predominantly "no," and answer accordingly.
The profanity doesn't bother me as go whether my kids are exposed to it. Like so much else, it's just a thing I had to teach them to eschew as much as possible and leave it at that. What else is there I could have done? It's not as though they weren't going to encounter it well before I'd have wanted them to, and I had no control over when that happened. The best I could do was prepare them for it and, as best I could, dissuade them from using profanity.The only thing I question the post is that the use of profanity is not really needed. I would let them if you could use the adult restriction could be used.

I'd bet it's not really more sophisticated than the war-painted primitive tribes of New Guinea -- facing off with elaborate dancing and shouting and waving of spears !!!
Wnen you've divorced yourself from allegiance to the 2 brand name parties, everything looks a lot stupider and sinister than if you're in a bunker taking fire..
