In my opinion, the political parties deserve to die a miserable death. They are a cancer upon the Republic. I loathe them.

I vote for the person not some party. My allegiance is to the Constitution, not any political party.

I work for a 3rd party, and vote third party every election. But I live in New York. We've got a different sort of third party here.

I've voted across party lines but never jumped ship. Nope.

    There'd be no point.

I have voted for people outside the party. In fact I don't remember voting a straight ticket, ever. There is a certain Democrat Congressman I voted for once and never will again. but we live and learn. If the party leaves me I would leave the party.

Seems to me the party has left the building.

What I'd like to see is the GOP get back to basics and the corruption on both sides ended.

I don't have a party. I'd love to have more realistic options in the voting booth, but I can't see joining some new party just because it's not R or D.
