The Irish deserved everything they got and then some. The Irish brought with them the most vicious forms of criminal activity. It is no wonder that when organized crime took over the unions in New York, the first thing the unions did was employ the Irish as enforcers. That's what put the Tammany in Tammany Hall.

The Irish mob is the oldest organized criminal enterprise in the US. It predates the Mafia by decades.

If this was the 1800s, Elizabeth Warren would have had the Boodle Gang, Bowe Brothers, Dead Rabbits or Roach Guard simply torturing people to death on her behalf.
