Worst "going solo" decisions in rock history?

Which rock frontmen do you think screwed the pooch the most when they decided to shitcan the band and go solo? And I don't necessarily mean commercially.

Yeah. Best concert in human history is still Blackmore Rainbow at the Beacon Theater in 1975. I'd take WayBack Machine there in a heartbeat
