What's worse?
Biting your own hand. Probably.
You're not gonna be able to process this story as reality....especially if you reside in California. But try....because it is real.
1. Let's begin with a logic lesson.
"Syllogism"....an instance of a form of reasoning in which a conclusion is drawn (whether validly or not) from two given or assumed propositions (premises), each of which shares a term with the conclusion, and shares a common or middle term not present in the conclusion.
Google.
2. Example of a syllogism:
Liberalism is a mental disease
Environmentalism is an iteration of Liberalism
Therefore, Environmentalism is a mental disease.
I know...you wanna quibble....'is not, is notttt'.
Just wait....
3. Even those of us on the East Coast know about the water problems California is having....
a. "COMPTON, Calif. — Alysia Thomas, a stay-at-home mother in this working-class city, tells her children to skip a bath on days when they do not play outside; that holds down the water bill. Lillian Barrera, a housekeeper who travels 25 miles to clean homes in Beverly Hills, serves dinner to her family on paper plates for much the same reason. In the fourth year of a severe drought, ..." http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/27/us/drought-widens-economic-divide-for-californians.html?_r=0
b. "....California is facing a punishing fourth year of drought. Temperatures in Southern California soared to record-high levels over the weekend, approaching 100 degrees in some places. Reservoirs are low. Landscapes are parched and blighted with fields of dead or dormant orange trees. And the Sierra Nevada snowpack, which is counted on to provide 30 percent of the state’s water supply as it melts through early summer, is at its second-lowest level on record."

4. What is the problem....is it too little water?
Not according to....
"California has plenty of water…just not enough to satisfy every possible use of water that people can imagine when the price is close to zero. As David Zetland points out in an excellent interview with Russ Roberts, people in San Diego county use around 150 gallons of water a day. Meanwhile in Sydney Australia, with a roughly comparable climate and standard of living, people useabout half that amount. Trust me, no one in Sydney is going thirsty." The Economics of the California Water Shortage
So.....it seems, rather than not enough water....it is the wasting of water that is the problem.
The insanity part....coming up.
