Sounds like a Model A Ford at idle. Put, put, put. Not very melodic is he?

I saw Yngwie Malmsteen at the Nakano Sun Plaza In Japan about 12 years ago. Put on a great show, ran around and played amazing making it all look effortless.
Did a few Hendrix tunes, Red House in particular. Proved he could slow it down and keep the soul and warmth.
During the big guitar solo (Isn't his whole show a solo of sorts isn't it?) he made some sort of evil feedback that put chills down my spine. I thought Satan was gonna' appear!

For shear speed, I always thought John McLaughlin was amazing. Not to mention that his riffs are very distinctive and melodic.
