Black, your insulting tone will not play well to other moderate Dems like me, please stop it before we get shellacked again

Well, while it may be true that it's silly to imagine CrusaderFrank as a liberal, the actual advice he is offering -- free of charge -- to liberals and Democrats is actually far from silly.
If they collectively had the ability and maturity to heed such advice, there is a chance that they might not get their asses kicked again in 2012 -- at least not so badly as they got their asses kicked in the recent midterm elections.
That is truly silly.
Somehow you just skipped right past all the hateful rhetoric and angry words from the right.
If Frank .. or you, were serious about toming down the anger, you'd be talking toyour own side of the fence.
The best thing democrats can do to ensure they won't get their asses kicked again is to pay attention to their base instead of pining to the hapless right .. which caused them to get their asses kicked in the first place.
Did you also somehow forget that republicans got stomped in 2008 .. did nothing to tone down right-wing idiocy. Try following your own advice.
Black, hateful hurtful rhetoric like yours is why we got shellacked in 2010 and will get it worse in 2012! Please tone down the hate! You make us Centrists Dems look bad
Frank is being silly as usual.

One of the problems with you stupid uber-libs is that you are unable to focus and LISTEN.
It is YOUR words, your hate-filled rhetoric, which your fellow liberal, CF, is warning you about.
But, it's casual. Don't listen to his sound, sage, rational advice. Stick with your hateful rhetoric and abysmal intolerance, instead.
Why not? It worked for you in the midterms so well, after all.
Yes. Ignore CF's advice.

Why do you see how the right thinks as idiocy?
I dont see how the left thinks as idiocy. I see it as an ideology that I do not agree with.
But idiocy? No.
The right is not comprised of the "idiots" of the country and netiher is the left. Both parties have the borad spectrum of people; some smarter than others.
Referring to thr right as idiots is just another example of not opening your mind to the way others think.
And it certainly doesnt allow for an open, honest, informative debate.
That is truly silly.

You and I have sane and civil debates and discussions. That's because you appraoch them sane and civily and I respond in kind.
It is idiotic in my opinion for right-wingers to be spouting off about how uncivil the left is when we've just witnessed two years of stubborn everything Obama does and says is wrong, evil, muslim, terrorist-loving, socialist, communist, on and on ad nauseum.
I don't like having to defend him because I don't like him, would never vote for him. But the idiotic speak from the right is even worse.
Open and honest debate can only be had by those who seek it. I do and you do .. which is why it happens.
That is truly silly.

But you are labelling an entire thought process based on the actions of a few.
Most of the right...and the GOP that represents them, did not disagree with Obama over the past few years as we saw him as an evil muslim terrorist loving socialist communist.
We disagreed with him becuase we disagree with his ideology.
Just as I saw most of the left did not disagree with Bush becuase he is a war mongering, blood thirsty, daddy's boy Hitler....I saw the left with an ideology that did not agree with Bush's.
You may be basing your thinking as it pertains to the right based on the few fringers that post in here and blog all day long.
The rest of us? The GOP in congress? We disagree with his policies as we do not believe they are right for the country....and that is why the GOP voted no so often.
That is truly silly.

You are so predictably wrong. First off, you misuse the term "irony." Then you misuse the phrase "hateful things." You are quite wrong. This is probably due to the fact that you are a mindless liberal drone.
So, my simple-minded and very confused liberal friend, try to track the truth here. Recognizing that you uber-libs are rather plodding and dim-witted is not hate speech. It is merely a recognition of reality. You may not LIKE it, but that doesn't make it hate speech.
IF you could get past your stubborn, willful and ignorant thinking, you WOULD have the possibility of embracing the words of wisdom imparted on you by CF.
Your always too preachy and hate-filled rhetoric has gotten you dopes in trouble. Change your ways. Repent. It could be your salvation.
CF isn't offering you bad advice. The advice he offers is sound and sage. Don't be so quick to go on bein' a hater. Embrace his gentle counsel. Change your ways.
Repent.
Your hate speech isn't working. Take note of it. Grow. Change.
You owe your fellow liberal, CrusaderFrank, a word of thanks.

Actually I'm not liberal. Nice try though
We need to tone down the hateful, hurtful rhetoric, it makes us look bad!
I say this as a lifelong Liberal, Progressive, Democtatic, Left Winger. Most of you are acting like the kook fringe and it pains me. We got shellacked ion 2010 because we drifted too far Left. We need to take a look at ourselves as Liberal, Progressive, Democtatic, Left Wingers, tune down our rhetoric, stop the hate and be more like real Americans.
I read the words of my fellow Liberal, Progressive, Democtatic, Left Wingers here and I cry, I cry for our Democratic Party, I cry for the baby seals, I cry for the polar bears stranded by global warming, I cry for the children most of all I cry from the shellacking the Repubs handed us! Ouch!
Tune down the Hate! Our future as Liberal, Progressive, Democtatic, Left Wingers depends on it!
WORD!
There is irony in that (IMO) these past mid-terms will get Obama elected again. My logic? If the status quo at been held, then he would all the blame for the mess. Now, with Republicans in charge of the house, the blame can be (deservedly) spread around. Plus, it will be a nice reminder to independents how much the GoP is the party of "No", as opposed to actually doing something...

The way that I see it is that if the Republicans hold one or both houses after the next election, then we are better off if Obama or another Democrat holds the White House. Where we seem to run into trouble is when one party or the other, doesn't matter which party, has free reign to do whatever the hell they want to do.
It is all in the checks and balances that we no longer have when we let Obama, Reid and Pelosi (as the latest examples) have full control.
Immie

Then why are you getting your panties is a knot over CrusaderFrank's suggestion to liberals, progressives, etc?

President Obama and the liberal Democratics HAD control of the Executive Branch as well as a filibuster proof Senate majority and a healthy House majority for almost two years.
And they couldn't do jack or shit without engaging in outright bribery.
But they did manage to perform significant damage to the Republic WITH a little bit of bribery to help them grease the skids.
And no. I'm NOT arguing that the GOP has been blameless, either. The main TARP program got passed before the Republican President left office, for example. There's plenty of blame to go around. But the objectives of the Obama Administration deserve to be roundly and soundly defeated and the best way to do that is to remove them from power -- oh, and by that I refer to their removal BY THE BALLOT.
