With Friends Like These....The Governor Doesn't Need Enemies.

Canned corn; Romney and Ryan together want to fix what Obama fucked up, this country. He may not have been a lot of people's first choice but he is waaaaaay better than Obama. And that's how it is.

But it is obvious by his Ryan pick that he wants to improve the economy of this great country.

It's just going to ring really hollow when the "principle" card gets played in the future.

Ryan? What does he really ad since both men have chunked his budget overboard. I'd like to know.

He adds more to the Romney ticket than Biden did Obama's..
we'll start with BRAINS..

The VP has brains too. Really, what else?

What's your point?

That we shouldn't vote in the election? Nice try.

That it reinforces the quality of the Republican nominee. Vote for whomever you like. You guys could have done a lot worse than Romney. I backed Huntsmann myself.

I think Romney was superior to several of the other candidates; apparently the bar was very low in the minds of the rabid GOP members here.

Meh, boo hoo. This is the process. People get to know their candidates, and in the process there are some pretty heavy accusations leveled and secrets told. People react strongly, meh, so what.

I like Romney. He's not the Messiah. He's human, as we all are. I leave deification of political figureheads to you lefty loons.

Yeah, what one says in the past shouldn't matter, right? Hell, it's all politics.

Is Romney the perfect Conservative?

No.

Is he far and again, light-years more conservative than Obama?

Yes.

Feel free to quote Me.

According to some, he's a "liberal". According to The Rabbai, "he's not conservative." You should question them because apparently you all can't decide what he is.

I know he's a loser come November.

Well, I never did think that Romney was a conservative .... nor am I convinced that Ryan is (based on his voting record). I do know that Romeny is smart and very successful in his business, Ryan knows numbers/budgets/econ, that both men are proven leaders, and that both men have worked across the aisle with 'the other side' to get the job done. While R & R have their flaws and are not the conservative candidates that I'd personally like to see in the WH, I believe they want Amercia <-- heh to be the exceptional beacon with individuals prospering rather than government providing.

Then there's Obama.

Romney gave moderates the finger when he picked Ryan. "Stupid chioce" is how one, male, and southern voter I know put it.

I'd vote for Donald Duck over Obama...

Lets vote him out people, November just around the corner

You are a whore...we gathered that already.

C'mon; no need to call a lady you don't know a "whore". She's incredibly unprincipled as we all know, has racial tendencies with her birther stance. But you're pulling a "rush" when you do that.

They said "Never again!!!" to RINO's yet they are forced to pull the lever for ol' Etch-a-Sketch this time around :eusa_boohoo:

And nothing makes me laugh harder than to see that...the internet "tough guys" being manipulated so easily. :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap: :eusa_clap:

You'll notice that there has been a pronounced absence of them on the thread....wonder why.

No person who voted for Obama has any credibility to chide anyone else on their choice of candidate. You got taken by a smooth talking, community organizer, who told you what you wanted to hear, and many of you have not wised up yet.

Obama is an empty suit who has absolutely no idea of how to actually govern anything. He has turned a nasty recession into an even nastier depression, and all he can promise is more of the same. In the meantime, he has run up over $6 trillion in additional debt.

Whether Romney is a conservative, a moderate, or a liberal, one thing is certain. He is far to the right of the abjectly incompetent socialist who now infests the White House.

Romney and Ryan are both proven leaders who have a good understanding of economics, and believe in capitalism. Three traits missing in your messiah.

They get my vote, and you can bet your last dollar that if I am still alive and kicking at election time, I will vote.

It's always funny to hear the right wing talk about socialism. It's a great time to stop reading because quite obviously, the person pitching "socialism" is either ignorant of it's definition or just ignorant in general.

The President has been a good President; not great. I think he was naive in his first year or so; not understanding that the GOP had no interest in working with him.
No President has had his character questioned this often--even his religion and his birthplace!!! It's a miracle he has gotten done what he's been able to ram through Congress.

Be that as it may; I feel whoever wins will be hamstrung by the dysfunctional Congress. The only thing the President can do on their own is appoint judges and hope it breaks in their favor. Because of this, I'd like to have a center-left man picking those judges. That is the President.
