The Republican Party of Wisconsin recruited six people as “protest candidates” — Republicans running as Democrats to force primaries, giving the Republican incumbents an additional month to prepare for a general election.

Expense of fake Democrats in primaries will top $400,000 - JSOnline

Madison - A plan by Republicans to run fake Democratic candidates in this summer's recall elections would cost taxpayers upward of $428,000, according to election clerks.

In one Senate district alone, the cost would top $100,000, interviews with county and municipal clerks show.

You ask "who will win?"--

the vote already came in with the state wide election for the judge on the Wisconsin supreme court. The unions lost--encumbant Prosser won reelection and this election was virtually considered a mandate on the government workers unions that were broken up.

Nothing new about it. It is a tried and true method of taking votes away from your opponent. I am sure the Dems are plannning the same thing themselves.

As usual the republicans are just slightly behind the democrats in every way.

Vitter, Craig, and Ensign were before Wiener. Only Wiener didn't break the law.

Tell that to Obama, he is the one that wants him to resign. Along with Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Schartz, and just about every Democrat everywhere.

You want to know the real difference? Weiner is a complete wiener. He attacks everyone, even his own party, and has no friends anywhere in Washington.

SEIU is doing the same thing. Placing candidates sympathetic to union causes and running them as republicans
This is from a blog that does reference a news story about SEIU plans.

The goal of SEIU is to endorse or place candidates sympathetic to the union up against mainstream conservative candidates and hope uninformed people will simply vote the (R)...

I hope neither side is throwing any more money at this--BECAUSE the public worker--aka government workers union already lost.

Shortly AFTER Scott Walker broke up the union there was a vote for the State Supreme court--and the union busting judge was running against a woman who was favorable to unions. She lost--he won reelection--spelling that the citizens of Wisconsin really do not want their government employees--teachers or other public servants to be unionized.
