Wisconsin recall could hint at 2012 races - Politics - msnbc.com

Six months ago, the GOP won big — now, six state senators face retribution

The recall elections on the ballot next month in Wisconsin illustrate two realities about the current state of American politics.

First, victories — no matter how dramatic they might seem on election night — may be short-lived.

And second, partisan activists are going to extraordinary lengths, using whatever weapons at hand, to win.

If successful in elections on July 12 to recall six Republican state senators, Democrats will begin to reverse the GOP Wisconsin triumph of last fall, wreaking retribution on lawmakers for voting for Gov. Scott Walker’s bill to limit collective bargaining for government workers.

It was an over-reach for the GOP and now it's come back to bit them. They overplayed their hand in their attack on the middle class and now the middle class will replace those who attacked.

The recall effort in Wisconsin should serve as a wakeup call to the rest of America too.

We shall see what happens. Just getting the recall elections means nothing if they don't win them.

Doesn't matter how the left leaning media spin it, they where voted in to pass that bill, and they will get re-elected in to do even more damage to the marxist agenda that is destroying that state.

Unsecure computors.

Think of how many top tier Cos get hacked and have massive amounts of info stolen or tampered with.

You think these machines are safe enough for our VERY DEMOCRACY?

Those who control the machines control the outcome.

I think we should get rid of all the electronic voting machines. We didn't seen to have a problem counting the votes before they came along. But we've had nothing but lawsuits and accusations of fraud ever since.

I think it would be easier to certify the outcome of any election if there is a paper ballot trail.

Yes we should go back to a paper ballot and count.

There is NO trail with a computor.

Any asshole can hack and cheat our elections.

It has already been done and there is congressional testimony to this fact.

Yeah, not a single complaint about butterfly ballots...

At least easier to rig the outcome for the democrat - the real agenda here....

Clint Curtis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He is notable chiefly for making a series of "whistleblower" allegations about his former employer and about Republican Congressman Tom Feeney, including an allegation that in 2000, Feeney and Yang Enterprises requested Curtis's assistance in a scheme to steal votes by inserting fraudulent code into touch screen voting systems.

Computer, shit fer brains.

And yes, there is an audit trail.

Any asshole can hack and cheat our elections.

But not if the computers get in the way, you figure that without them, you fascist assholes of the democratic party can resume full scale fraud.

It has already been done and there is congressional testimony to this fact.

There is zero evidence of tampering. You're a fucking moron.

there is plenty of evidence.

Computors get hacked EVERY day.

You just ignore the real facts because your a partisan dweeb

Investigations

On March 3, 2005, Curtis passed a polygraph test given by Tim Robinson, the retired chief polygraph operator and 20-year veteran of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The polygraph was paid for by Kevin Walsh, a private investigator from Washington, D.C., who told the St. Petersburg Times that he had been hired to prove election fraud. Walsh refused to identify the client.[3] Curtis has stated that the test was based on all the allegations in the affidavit that was provided to Conyers' Voting Forum

The District of Columbia's plan to use a previously untried internet voting system for absentee ballots cast overseas has been raising red flags for a while. But now the ability of a team of computer experts to easily take over the system and reprogram it to play the University of Michigan fight song whenever a vote is cast has caused the whole scheme to be called off.

As blogger Brad Friedman reported on Monday, "The very short planned pre-election test phase, in which hackers were invited to try to manipulate the system, has been abruptly aborted in the wake of a, um, disturbing (if not wholly unpredictable) development,"

By the next day, Friedman had confirmed that "J. Alex Halderman, asst. professor of electronic engineering and computer science at the [University of Michigan], was, indeed, at the heart of the hack."

Curtis is a blowhard loser. He couldn't even get law enforcement to take him seriously. A few leftist stupid fucks at Wired thought they could defraud the nation - nothing more. One constant with you fascists, you're unscrupulous pigs, lying fucks who use demagoguery as your main weapon.

Wired sold it's soul to the DNC and as a result has become irrelevant.
