Wisconsin: Don't Retreat or Reload...Recall!

LOL, the DailyKos, which is FUNDED by the little commie, George Soros. is so full of shit.

The fat assed Michael Moore who made millions off these STUDENTS and other dummies couldn't even get that MANY people to the streets with his call for REVOLUTION revolution.

oh well, it is something to laugh about I guess.

You have to laugh really.

When Democrats WIN they gloat and sneer at people, WE WON we won.

When they LOSE a election by Democratic voting from the people of the state, they think they can charge in there and OVERTURN it.

Well see how this goes over with the people.
The People of Wisconsin will remember that Scott Walker didn't campaign on a platform of obliterating collective bargaining and turning the Wisconsin Retirement System over to Wall Street.

"The budget bill also plans to tear down the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS). This is not New Jersey, where a succession of corrupt governments have underfunded (read: stolen) the state pension system in order to shift resources to pay for budget shortfalls in general revenues caused by tax breaks for the rich.

"The WRS is one of the nation's most stable, well-funded and best-managed pension systems. Although Wisconsin is not a big state, the WRS has amassed $75bn in reserves, and pays out handsome pensions to its public retirees, without needing new public subsidy.

"The Walker bill has language providing for tearing down this system, raiding its assets to pay for further tax cuts for the rich (especially property owners), and then throwing Wall Street a meaty bone as public employees would be shifted to 401k plans handled by money managers on commission."

What's on display in the Rust Belt today is participatory democracy as opposed to the representative version.

It's the version Abe Lincoln was practicing when he jumped out of a second floor window of the Illinois statehouse to deny Democrats a quorum.

It won't go well. By and large? The people of this Republic have had enough of the games. We are in fiscal trouble, and certain entities just want to circumvent what is trying to be done to correct it by acting like petulant children.
We are in fiscal trouble because of decades of tax cuts for the richest individuals and their cash cows the corporations.

Republicans AND Democrats want you to believe it's collective bargaining in Wisconsin and not control fraud on Wall Street that generated our current revenue shortages.

They're lying and you're buying.

Get your head out of your ass before it's too late.

you first.
You Union-Progressive tool.

And when it actually happens, you will have something. For now it is little more than hype and glitz.
The outcome of any Recall Election is far from being decided; however, if you look at which side is able to flood streets from Madison to DC with thousands of supporters, the fates of as many as eight GOP senators in Wisconsin appear to be about as doomed as a Hayley Barbour run for the White House in 2012.

When do these people work?
Or do they work?
I can't really tell from these pictures on Daily Kos.

Some appear to be students and some look closer to retirement age.

The organizational energy seems to be clearly on the side of those doing the marching:

"The energy is entirely with our side now. As Markos just wrote, Republicans are getting seriously out-organized in this recall fight.

"They are relying on lobbyists as we occupy buildings, hit the streets, sign up thousands of volunteers and raise millions of dollars from small donations.

"This is a big frakkin' deal. Welcome to the turn of the tide."

Ah...the poor picked on Republicans in Wisconsin...

Conservatives: We Are Being Outworked And Out-Organized In Wisconsin Recall Campaigns

WASHINGTON -- Both national and Wisconsin-based Republican operatives tell the Huffington Post the party is being dramatically outworked and out-organized by Democrats in the recall campaigns being launched against state Senators.

The operatives, who raised their concerns out of hope it would jar the GOP into assertiveness, argue complacency has taken over after Governor Scott Walker successfully shepherded his anti-collective bargaining bill into law. While the Wisconsin Democratic Party, with major assists from progressive groups and unions, has harnessed resentment towards the governor into a full-throttled effort to recall eight GOP Senators, neither the enthusiasm nor organizational acumen exists on the Republican side of the aisle.

“It's clear that Democrats and liberal organizations are engaging in an attempt to make recall more than a mere hypothetical possibility for some Wisconsin Republicans,” said Liz Mair, Vice President of Hynes Communications and former RNC Online Communications Director, who has followed closely the work of conservative groups in Wisconsin. “Even though Governor Walker acted to end the impasse, Republicans and conservatives should not be acting like this is done and dusted.”

A conservative activist working inside the state on recall efforts was even more explicitly distraught. The Wisconsin Republican Party, the operative said, was not lending resources to the recall campaign groups had launched against Democratic Senators, in turn causing those groups to narrow their target list down from eight lawmakers to just three.

“It would be nice if the Republican Party, operatives, etc, would step in with a little money,” said the activist, who asked to remain nameless lest he draw the GOP even further away from the recall effort. “But they are talking about doing radio and I’m not sure that gets you signatures.”

Big deal, flooding the streets of a city with paid Union thugs (most of them BUSSED IN) and a bunch of YOUNG college students isn't anything. And we all will laugh our asses of when you all LOSE at this too.
Are you saying Scott Walker's side doesn't have enough money to hire marchers or that no one is willing to accept corporate money to participate on his behalf?

Seems that we will see real democracy in action.

The second, and likely more significant piece of evidence, came in the form of recall signatures. Progressive groups now claim they have gathered 45% of the needed signatures to hold a recall for the eight eligible Republican state senators. That number is remarkable considering the fact that organizers have had only weeks to obtain the signatures. In addition, the 45% number actually includes a "bugger" to allow for a certain number of signatures to be thrown out. If progressives can keep up this pace they could be able to submit the petition for recall in on month. A detailed timeline of how events would then proceed can be seen here. In summary, the eligible Wisconsin Republicans could theoretically be recalled in as soon as four months.

They told somebody. Might not have been the Huffpo they told. They're running scared those Wisconsin 8. Recall the bastards!

After their recent service to corporate America, Wisconsin State Senators wasted little time jetting into DC to collect their pay.

Outside the offices of BGR Group (the "B" stands for Barbour, as in Hayley) "as many as 1000 workers, students, union activists and allies filled the streets of downtown Washington."

"Many surged into the building where the senators met with lobbyists who paid as much a $5,000 to 'host' the gathering to thank the Wisconsin Republicans."

"They DC protesters chanted many of the same unions slogans that have been heard at mass protests in Wisconsin.

"And they picked up a political slogan as well: 'Recall!'

"Across Wisconsin, citizens are gathering petition signatures to force recall elections that could remove as many as eight GOP senators who backed the governor's anti-union bill.

"If just three seats (including Darling's) flip to the Democrats, Fitzgerald will no longer be majority leader and Walker's agenda will suddenly face serious legislative hurdles.

"Mocking the Tea Party rhetoric about gunplay and 'Second Amendment Solutions,' one protester in DC held a sign that read: 'We Don't Reload, We Recall!'"

Wisconsin Senators...

Good for the Libs and their catchy slogans....After all it got Obama elected with the YES WE CAN chant.:eusa_whistle:

true enough - but I suspect it's not just hype and glitz - it's very well funded hype and glitz that will keep pressure on the recall effort.
So far, the Democrats seem to be doing a better job of funding their recall attempts than the Republicans:

Wisconsin has a history of radical labor politics that defies how many of us define conservative/progressive political principles. Some of the unions strongest supporters come from Wisconsin farms. If their support holds, Walker could be gone long before 2014.

Absolutely hilarious.

The Dems shirk their responsibility and leave the state like criminals, and they want to recall the Republicans that stayed and did their jobs.

If this BS works and GOP members get recalled anywhere the pitchforks will come out.

My suggestion to any lefties is they'd better hope that they don't get enough signatures because this is about to get ugly.

I think this is what they want.
Consider the possibility that if the fight for a 40 hour work week and paid vacations hadn't gotten ugly those demands would never have been met.

Power concedes nothing without a demand.

It doesn't matter if a King or a corporation wields the power.

This is about union membership, thus about union dues, thus about money going to Democrats. Quit bringing up ancient history to justify the deceptions being perped on us today.

Nothing ancient about the multi-trillion dollar taxpayer bailout of Wall Street that spawned the current revenue shortages in Wisconsin and elsewhere.

Or maybe you think union dues are responsible for the Great Recession?
