Windows 8.1 upgrade..... is it just me?

those dang underlined green things is promoting and advertising...wth? I didn't ask for that and dame sure don't want it...

and it's freezing my computer up

how do we convert back as some mentioned...I know enough to use computers but not an expert on most of it

Would you like a list of the various problems Mac users have with updates? Up to, and including, the damn thing freezing and forcing them to wipe everything?

Nope! I've never had any of those problems.

Ummm. I have 8.1, and every two or three times I click something on here, it kicks me off for several minutes. The update is horrible, trust me.

I upgraded to it last week on the Acer notebook. Our other computers are an ipad and laptop with Windows 7 which I'm trying to hold onto because I hate 8. No problems yet but those colors are bright and at least I got the start button back.
