Wilson Paid $$$$$$$$ !!!!!!!

That's impossible! It is widely known that with Wilson's contract the Hawk front office is hog tied screwed blued and tatooed. The only Defensive player of any note left to address is Chancellor because he is upset with how his contract negotiations are going. OOPS!!! my bad. Kam IS already under contract for two more seasons. His holding out is costing him 30 thousand a day. That's a lot of money to gamble with considering he has nothing on the table to bargain with.

Frankly I believe that Chancellor is getting bad advice from his agent and possibly other sources. If Wagner DIDN'T get taken care of so rapidly as the Hawks front office kept saying they would as soon as they could Chancellor might have had a point to piggyback along on the "I'm feeling sorry for myself bus" but that's not what happened now is it. It seems all the tires on that particular bus have gone flat. Now Kam has shown his cards already in this game of bluff. Strange strategy.

In April 2013 Kam Chancellor signed a 4 year, $28,002,008 contract with the Seattle Seahawks, including a $5,000,000 signing bonus, $7,825,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $7,000,502. In 2015, Chancellor will earn a base salary of $4,550,000 and a incentive bonus of $100,000. Chancellor has a cap hit of $5,650,000 while his dead money value is $7,550,000.

Chancellor is already one of the league's highest-paid safeties.

Seattle fan's reputation is a joke, they know little about players and less about football the only exceptions I have seen on this board is Huggy and Blue.

That's not a Seahawks fan thing, that's an NFL fan thing. Most fans of any franchise don't know shit about any other team than their own and most don't have the slightest clue about football. And I think you overrate my knowledge of other teams. I try to educate myself about the teams the Seahawks will be playing in any given year, which means I usually know quite a bit about other NFC West teams, a little less about other NFC teams unless they are on our schedule, and I know virtually nothing about AFC teams unless, again, we happen to be playing them that year. We haven't played the Dolphins, for example, for a few seasons. I can tell you virtually nothing about them.

Good.

Now they can't extend Irvin, Wagner, Bennett and Okung.

Regardless of if thats true or not thats a good point. They actually did extend Wagers contract though and Bennet is locked in for three more years.Okung is so injury prone their better off without him if they let him go,they got a good replacement for him.

I believe they have been incorporating Alvin Bailey to replace Okung. Okung is great when he can stay in the game but he DOES get injured often

"We"? Which NFL team do you follow?

We is a team? I meant those who follow the NFL.

I follow the Raiders, we will finish 4-12 and be out of the playoffs early. I hate the Hawks, the Patriots and the Cowboys. The Hawk fans annoy me the most.

The Hawks release DT McDaniels.

Well that was expected. The early word out of camp is that Rubin is really benefiting from having Mebane, Bennett, and Avril around him. He apparently looks great and Jordan Hill (who looked like an emerging force near the end of the year) is back, healthy and looking good. McDaniel is 30...there are available replacements who the coaches feel are just as good...off he goes. That's just the business of football

Oh well now it is clear since there is history between Oakland and Seattle. Makes perfect sense

That and I used to live in Seattle, stupid fans, with little knowledge of football out of Seahawks. Packer, Steeler and 49er fans seem the most educated about the NFL. Hawks, Broncos and Bengal fans are some of the least educated about the NFL.

Dude, I lived I Pittsburgh for a long time. They are just as stupid as everyone else. My entire family comes from Pittsburgh / Cleveland and I spent lots of time living in both places. Their fans are no more or less knowledgeable than any other fan base. You are being an ass suggesting that fan base A knows more than fan base B. Give it a rest. Some people know their shit and some don't. The vast majority thinks the difference between a two-gap and a one-gap line scheme is something you would see in a porno movie and that is true of any fan base you bring up. All your bullshit about "oh you are a fan of team A so you don't know anything" is just fucking ignorant. Grow the hell up.

If you want to talk football then talk it. If all you want to do is talk shit and be an ass go to Bleacher Report or ESPN.com
