CNN - Michael Jackson's body will be taken to his Neverland Ranch on Thursday morning for a public viewing Friday, a law enforcement source said Tuesday.

Michael Jackson, shown at a rehearsal June 23 -- one of his last -- was to perform in London in July.

A private memorial service is scheduled for Sunday at Neverland.

Also, a Jackson will written in 2002 has been found, according to family lawyer Londell McMillan.

Planning is under way for a 30-car motorcade carrying Jackson's remains to leave the Los Angeles area at 10 a.m. for Santa Barbara County, California, on Thursday, a source said.

Another state law enforcement source said the California Highway Patrol had not been formally requested to escort the motorcade.
The question of where Jackson will be buried remains unanswered.

The singer's hometown of Gary, Indiana, is asking the family to send him there, according to the mayor's spokeswoman.

I was planning on going, but I haven't been able to get my name (Ahmed Mohammed El Xot'oxi-Rashad) off the "no-fly list".

Echo...are you rooting for his carcass to be buried in Gary, so you can visit his grave every weekend?

Well, since I have a vacation home in Gary, right by the steel mills, it would be convenient for me.

And, the bonus is, I can do my "Thriller" dance there every weekend too!

I want to buy one of those little plastic Michael Jacksons to put on the dash of my car...

Taking bets that the Jacksons turn Neverland into a ''Graceland'' of sorts... :dig:

If you see an IPO... BUY!!!

You know, I wasn't a fan of Michael even before his weirdness became publicly known...and I didn't appreciate his musicality until it became obvious he had...issues.

But I'm sorry, I'm sad that he died reviled (even if he did deserve it..which remember, a jury of his "peers" determined he didn't) and I'm sad his death has become a freak show. Hopefully his children will now have a chance to be somewhat normal, though what are the chances, if they're raised by the Jackson family which gave us Michael and LaToya?

Hopefully Janet will take them....though she's probably not your average bear either.
