In political speach?

Will it remain a useful tool or will the people who try to use it lose votes and support?

I think yes

with all the rants on both sides about what it means nothing can convince the opposite side what you pretend they dont really believe.

When the rubber meets the road NO ONE , neither side, will benifit in a political way for continuing to use such language.

I really think this is going to end up being the case.

It gave me some real hope when it occured to me.

Shut them up?

Are you claiming the ONLY thing these people have to say is violent?

We have instructed our folks here to double check all the imagery and press materials that they are uplifting and hopeful. That doesn't mean be sweet to the Dems, but it does mean be decent in expression and image.

Nothing has changed.

The people who hate Sarah Palin after what happened Saturday are the same ones who hated her before Saturday.

But now they think they have a bigger, better soapbox to stand on.

I've never seen a violent image in a political speech. Oh and speech is spelled with two "e's", there is no "a" in speech.

Nothing new the left AGAIN wants to try and shut down Freedom of speech.

now they have a new song and dance, VIOLENT IMAGES AND SPEECH.:eusa_whistle:

I beg to differ with you , I think this is a game changer momment.

I dont think this will be a useful tactic anymore.

All this fighting about it has made some headway.

I think it will give some solace to the vitims of this horrible incident.

I think it will make their path of grief a little softer.

I am really begining to feel much better about my country this momment

oh brother, you musta slept through the eight years of the Bush administration.
good gawd. crack me up.

Yeah I dont think a target is a violent image.

its conjures up games and skill in the minds of MOST people, lets remember many Americans have never even held a gun let alone pointed one at a target.

Everyone knows what a gun scope cross hairs is because of movies.

that is why Target chose the symbol.

believe me you they did market research before they picked that symbol.
