Will the GOP personal responsibility crowd take the blame for their election debacle?

Emergency rooms are seeing a record number of republicans with alcohol poisioning today.

As they check out, I hope someone tells them that Obamacare is going to pick up the tab, as a joke. Nothing like a good laugh to cheer up people in the midst of a personal crisis.

To this point, the GOP (and their supporters) seem to be blaming everyone but themselves for their poor election performance in both the presidential race and numerous Senate races across the country.

Here's a clue for some people. If you demand that other people take personal responsibility, you're pretty much required to take personal responsibility yourself.

Step UP, conservatives! It's time to blame yourselves for your poor election results!

Will Obama and the Democrats take responsibility for what happens in his second term both the good and the bad or will they still Blame Bush for the bad? It's well past time for them to step up.

Will Republicans in the House continue to obstruct the president?

Romney got nearly 50 per cent of the vote. Obama stole the capital that rightfully, and under the laws of this land, legally belonged to the bondholders of the old General Motors and Chrysler and gave it to the UAW so they could get free Viagra with which to dampen their bedsheets. That's one of the reasons the economy is still in the dumps and quite likely headed into another downturn. Capital is the fuel that propels modern economies but Obama gave it to the UAW so its members could use it to wipe their asses with instead to procure their votes. Go to Columbus, Ohio during the Quarterhorse Congress and count the number of GM dealers offering their deals. Nary a Ford dealer present. That's because GM is still running on the taxpayers dollar whereas Ford has to earn its money the hard way without stealing it from the taxpayer.

Obama did not steal the bondholders' capital. The bondholders' had no capital to steal. GM was bankrupt.

And how quickly we forget that it was George W. Bush who gave GM the first infusion of taxpayer money through TARP.

While I normally don't watch TV (even though I do listen to talk radio), I decided to tune in to see how conservatives and Republicans view their election shellacking. I was hoping to see some real reflection and soul searching. I'm not seeing it. What I'm hearing is rhetorical finger pointing in every direction other than in their own direction. Unless this is just a phase (as in the 5 stages of grief), and unless there are more serious discussions going on behind the scenes, conservatives are very likely to continue to get their clock cleaned, deservedly so.
