Will the Democratic strategy of calling Trump a racist 24/7/365 succeed in 20'?

It apparently didn't work well in 2016. It sounds like they're doubling down on that strategy.

Americans dislike racism, bigotry and injustice, but their first concern is their standard of living. Do you imagine that there will ever come a time when Democrats care about the standard of living of the American people? Or can we anticipate that they'll be singularly-focused on ''racism'' for years to come?

It worked well in the midterms so yes they are going to ride that pony again.

The Dems will continue well after Trump is out of office - in 2024. They have no platform to run on anymore. Everything is racist to them. Especially, when they don't get their way.

It's the new #MeToo... :)

Historically speaking, presidents lose seats in Congress in the midterms. And, historically speaking, incumbent presidents win re-election, with Bush senior being the exception.

To win, the Democrats need to win the swing states. I think they need a better strategy and a change in policy.

Be that as it may, they seem to be very bent on not changing horses. Only the people who aren't near the head of the polling pack can change the narrative, but they won't. they will just pile on as well. Anyway, I didn't imply or say it would work. Only that they will do it again.

I wonder if come election time, the people will realize that the dims have done nothing but attack Trump for 4 years. And failed to prove anything.

It will fail worse this time since he won and his policies worked. He is doing what he said he would and there is a great deal of resentment from Americans regarding the special treatment and attention illegal immigrants are receiving while they struggle.

Also, if a far left candidate wins the Dem primary, which seems more likely now, Howard Schultz will enter the race and ensure a Trump victory.

I will be very surprised if the Dem candidate is not Kamala. She checks all the boxes and is sort of Black just like Obama. The Democrat power players are just chomping at the bit to endorse her. Old White guys just save yourself some embarrassment and drop out now. Maybe they will go with Kamala as President and Corey Booker as First Bitch?

I don't believe Kamala can beat Trump IF things remain as they are, but being the Democratic nominee would be a huge boost for her political career and would, seemingly, make her the face of the party.
