1. Would any astute observer of the history of the last 100 years attempt to argue that the Left hasn't taken control of the 'education' industry, and the media?
Of course, not.
But they have gone further.....into control of government.

The progression was clear and apparent.

2. "The radicals of the sixties did not remain within the universities…They realized that the apocalypse never materialized. “…they were dropping off into environmentalism and consumerism and fatalism…I watched many of my old comrades apply to graduate school in universities they had failed to burn down, so they could get advanced degrees and spread the ideas that had been discredited in the streets under an academic cover.”
Collier and Horowitz, “Destructive Generation: Second Thoughts About The Sixties,” p. 294-295.

3. “The radicals were not likely to go into business or the conventional practice of the professions. They were part of the chattering class, talkers interested in policy, politics, culture. They went into politics, print and electronic journalism, church bureaucracies, foundation staffs, Hollywood careers, public interest organizations, anywhere attitudes and opinions could be influenced. And they are exerting influence.” Robert H. Bork, “Slouching Toward Gomorrah,” p. 51

“[The radicals] did not go away or change their minds; the New Left shattered into a multitude of single-issue groups. We now have, to name a few, radical feminists, black extremists, animal rights groups, radical environmentalists, activist homosexual organizations, multiculturalists, organizations such as People for the American Way, the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL), the National Organization for Women (NOW), and Planned Parenthood.” Ibid p. 53

4. And, more recently, the former Moscow CIA Station Chief wrote this,
".... the denizens of the Deep State that everyone in Washington likes to tell us doesn’t exist....made up of thousands of similarly credentialed, remarkably “un-diverse” civil servants and political appointees who saw themselves promoted rapidly during the eight years of the Obama administration. The appointees have left, but make no mistake — the progressive civil servants remain.

The present culture of the intelligence community and the shameless political shenanigans of the Obama administration combined to create this disaster. ....CIA leadership famously stood up to the Nixon administration when asked to domestically spy on Justice during Watergate, for example.

It seems that today we lack the character and the competence to ensure that the intelligence community honors the trust of the American people."
How the intel community was turned into a political weapon against President Trump

5. "... today, another deep state conspiracy, to break another presidency, is underway.
Trump ...congratulated Putin on his re-election victory.

Instantly, the briefing paper for the president's call was leaked to the Post. In bold letters it read, "DO NOT CONGRATULATE."
Amazing. A disloyal White House staffer betrays his trust and leaks a confidential paper to sabotage the foreign policy of a duly elected president, and he is celebrated in this capital city."
Pat Buchanan - Will the Deep State Break Trump?

This is the same bunch who whine about Republicans restricting voting....a lie....but they obviate elections altogether.

America.....our days are numbered.

6. “If you wish to see the deep state at work, this is it: anti-Trump journalists using First Amendment immunities to collude with and cover up the identities of bureaucratic snakes out to damage or destroy a president they despise. No wonder democracy is a declining stock worldwide.

And, yes, they give out Pulitzers for criminal collusion like this.” Pat Buchanan - Will the Deep State Break Trump?=

7. During the Obama regime, they weren’t called the ‘Deep State.’ Then, they were the Journolist.

“…Journolist, a listserv comprised of several hundred liberal journalists, as well as like-minded professors and activists. The tough questioning from the ABC anchors left many of them outraged.

…at several points during the 2008 presidential campaign a group of liberal journalists took radical steps to protect their favored candidate. Employees of news organizations including Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon and the New Republic participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.” Daily Caller discovers Journolist plot to spike Wright story, smear conservatives as racists

8. “Not only have journalists given up any pretense of neutrality in this campaign to bring down the president, ex-national security officers of the highest rank are starting to sound like resisters.

Ex-CIA Director John Brennan openly speculated Tuesday that the president may have been compromised by Moscow and become an asset of the Kremlin.

"I think he's afraid of the president of Russia," Brennan said of Trump and Putin. "The Russians, I think, have had long experience with Mr. Trump and may have things they could expose."

If Brennan has evidence Trump is compromised, he should relay it to Robert Mueller. If he does not, this is speculation of an especially ugly variety for someone once entrusted with America's highest secrets.” Pat Buchanan - Will the Deep State Break Trump?=

There is no “Deep State”, it’s just the latest right wing hysteria against common sense and good government.

The only person destroying Donald Trump’s Presidency is Donald Trump.

With every hire and every firing, with ever false flag attack, and every lie he tells, Donald Trump is destroying his presidency.

When the wheels come completely off the out of control bus hurtling down the mountain, Dumb Donald will have only himself to blame.

Purest fantasy.

It is hardly surprising that people working in government don't have the same fear and loathing of our gov't that is common among Trump minions. I know plenty of gov't workers, military, and contractors working for the gov't and there are plenty on both sides of the political debate. If there was a conspiracy there would be lots of people who would want to expose it.

9. It is the grossest of errors to thing of the government in Republican-Democrat terms.

The correct description is Americans/Trump vs the Deep State.

Nowhere is this more evident than in the bill, supposedly authored by Republicans, that, if signed, would end the agenda that got Mr. Trump elected.

"Trump Says He May Veto Spending Bill, Risking Government Shutdown"
Trump Says He May Veto Spending Bill, Risking Government Shutdown

If the establishment politicians, and the career bureaucrats and the media are the actual determiners of government policy, then voting is a worthless endeavor.

You really need to read the news. If you had you would know that day by day more and more things are being exposed. .

If you are getting your "information" from the MSM (enemedia) you are completely clueless. The best news sites are The Drudge Report and Judicial Watch. If you're not a good reader, the best TV news is Fox. Whether you like Fox or not, one thing is true: they report tings that the rest of the media totally ignores.

I’m proud of you! Not only are you a fool, but you have the energy to let everyone know it!

But perhaps I should have used the term you're more familiar with....

Definition of commissariat
[borrowed from Russian komissariat, borrowed from German Kommissariat, borrowed from Medieval Latin commissāriātus]
: a government department in the U.S.S.R. until 1946
Definition of COMMISSARIAT

This is the governance under which America is not operating.

J.L. Talmon used the term 'totalitarian democracy.'

The Trump presidency has exposed every element of Talmon's thesis.

"The latest variation of totalitarianism is neither religious, nor even political: it is cultural. “Totalitarian democracy” is a term made famous by J. L. Talmon to refer to a system of government in which lawfully elected representatives maintain the integrity of a nation state whose citizens, while granted the right to vote, have little or no participation in the decision-making process of the government."

Americans voted for the policies and agenda's of President Trump.
These policies have been proven to benefit Americans.
But are to the detriment of the Deep State, the true masters of the Left.

This $1.3 trillion spending bill is the sine qua non in the battle for America.

If the President signs it,.......

Your premises are contradictory and your conclusion is illogical:

First, you make a general statement that people "working in government" don't have the same fear of our government as Trump supporters. Then you state that there are "plenty" of government workers on "both sides of the political debate." Which is it?

As to your dismissal of any "conspiracy," how do you account for the clearly unlawful acts of Lois Lerner, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, etc. for which no serious investigation, much less prosecution, has taken place? Lots of people do want to expose it, but this has been thwarted by political commissars who have been planted our (formerly) most trusted government institutions.

By "both sides of the political debate" I meant liberal and conservative. Trump is neither, he is a demagogue.

My understanding of 'Deep State' is that it refers to career civil servants, not politicians or political appointees. There will always be people who abuse whatever power they have but that doesn't mean it is the norm.

10. "What is going on in this city is an American version of the "color revolutions" we have employed to dump over governments in places like Georgia and Ukraine.

Goal: Break Trump's presidency, remove him, discredit his election as contaminated by Kremlin collusion, upend the democratic verdict of 2016, and ash-can Trump's agenda of populist conservatism. Then, return America to the open borders, free trade, democracy-crusading Bushite globalism beloved by our Beltway elites.

10. Trump’s popularism is represented by these policies:

against the mess Hussein Obama made of the economy,
against the corruption we've witnessed for decades,
against awarding nuclear weapons to the 7th century savages,
against the anti-white bias of the Democrat Party,

against the flood of illegal immigrants who require welfare
against bringing millions of unvetted Muslim refugees from war-indoctrinated nations,
against redistribution of wealth,
against the failed Liberal welfare industry,
against being dictated to by the United Nothings,
against a failed Liberal education industry,
against $20 trillion national debt...

...and for the slim possibility of a rebirth of America.

Very slim....

"Obama economy created 15 million jobs"

And now, the truth.

1... in today’s recovery — the slowest in the modern era going back to 1947 — private capital investment has lagged badly. ... so has the jobs situation, with 92 million dropping out of the workforce altogether. A labor-participation rate of 62.8% and an employment-to-population rate of 58% are historic lows indicative of the anemic jobs recovery. In a stunning Tuesday report, Gallup CEO and Chairman Jim Clifton revealed that “for the first time in 35 years, American business deaths now outnumber business births.”Clifton says for the past six years since 2008, employer business startups have fallen below the business failure rate, spurring what he calls “an underground earthquake” that only stands to worsen as lagging U.S. Census data becomes available.

6. . "That basic math is why middle class incomes have been in decline under Obama. The Census Bureau reports that since Obama became President 7 years ago, real median household income has fallen by $1,300 a year. Heritage Foundation Chief Economist Steve Moore explained in testimony before the Ways and Means Committee, “At 2 percent growth the economy doesn’t spin off enough jobs to increase wages, and tax revenues grow much too slowly to balance the budget.”
The recession officially ended more than 6 years ago. Wages and incomes have always grown in recoveries, not declined. Moreover, the American historical record is the deeper the recession, the stronger the recovery. The economy is supposed to boom in a recovery to catch up with its long term economic growth trendline. But over 6 years after the recession ended, that still has not happened. 9. . "...take-home pay for many American workers has effectively fallen since the economic recovery began in 2009, according to a new study by an advocacy group that is to be released on Thursday.
