Will Obama Be Reelected?

Who out there believes that Obama will be reelected? And if you voted for him last time will you do it again and why?

It all depends on whether or not White America has gotten over its black guilt trip.

????

That's all it depends on? Really? Nothing to do with the economy? Jobs? International policy?

No...it all rides on something called the black guilt trip....wow...we're in some serious trouble.

Obama got 41% of the White male vote and an even lower % of the WASP male vote. That's not your key demographic in 2012 in my opinion and certainly they were not the reason he was elected, especially the older part of that demo.

You might want to ask the party that gave us Robert Byrd...George Wallace on this one friend. it isn't WHITE so much as it is party...and that certain party still means to keep certain groups on the plantation and never admitting it to them.

They still play the pretend game, and it is sickening as Hell.

I have to say, that viewpoint is absurd to me.

Make a list of influential, accomplished African-American politicians. Then tell me if they were/are Democrat or Republican or other.

There's a long list of Democrats and no Republicans of note. Oh yeah, JC Watts and Michael Steele:clap2:

Well judging from this and other boards the left will attempt to crush Obama in the primaries. Win or lose that will probably cost the Ds the general election.

Obama's Financial machine of 2008 has been analyzed and will be used against him in 2012. This could cost him the election.

The economy will not be markedly better even though unemployment, U-3, is quite likely to be below 8%. That will convince everyone his whole team is a pack of liars.

HCR is already causing a decline in the availability of healthcare and it will be worse by 2012. This will hurt the Ds nationwide.

Obama's numbers have been plummeting like a brick in water. I don't see him beating a Romney or Huckabee.

Dude please put your crack pipe down.
I normally don't respond to adolescents but what you've said could serve to perpetuate the political ignorance I cited.

Carter=misery index, international hostage "rescue" HUMILIATION, and a general ignorance as to what America needed both economically and security wise @ that crucial time in our history.
It wasn't Carter who took those people hostage. It was Iranian dissidents. But it was Reagan who made a secret deal with the hostage-takers to give them what they wanted in exchange for releasing them as a publicity advantage to enhance his image. I regard that as a form of treason.

Reagan=a booming economy, instrumental in defeating the U.S.S.R., humble, charismatic, I mean Lord this is all stuff even his enemies admit.
A booming economy -- on a credit card that you will still be paying off when you are out of high school and working. Your kids and grand-kids will still be paying it off, too.

In case you didn't understand that; if I issue a credit card to you and tell you to start buying anything you want and just charge it, and a few years later I tell you to start paying it off, that is the situation your hero handed to us.

Crack kills......
And ignorance stultifies.

Yeeea I don't feel like doing all that quote marking, sooooooo!

1. Those hostages were released because Reagan threatened to carpet bomb Iran (tragic shame to this day he didn't) keep them conspiracy theories under all that tin man, mmm k?

2. Regan had to raise taxes to help tackle the debt/deficit, that aint enough for your clearly far left self? Shocking. He utilized economic aspects of both sides of the aisle in dealing with that crisis, the economy improved, if he didn't, we'd still have that same debt/deficit today, probably worse. So what would you have done genius?

Who out there believes that Obama will be reelected? And if you voted for him last time will you do it again and why?

If he wises up and plays nice and lets the cons do thier thing, he's in.

If he stays the course...

Well, Carter will be happy to know that he's not the worst Pres ever anymore.

Wow, where to start.......

By nearly every poll Bush II is considered the worst living POTUS. Among all POTUS's it's usually Warren Harding. The only group that Carter is considered the worst is the right wing extremists.

Clinton, who is considered the best living POTUS, did NOT "play nice" with the GOP controlled Congress and came out on top in the polls and had his best accomplishments of an enormously successful presidency.

So my advice to Obama would be.......If you want to be re-elected you must demonize and fight the GOP at every turn whenever they get in the way of what you know is the right course.

He made a huge mistake not taking them on when they tagged "tax cuts for the rich" as the top priority and threatened to bring government to a complete stop if they did not get their way.

As to the OP it will take a moderate to beat Obama but I don't see the GOP electing someone like that in the primary. So my money's on Obama at this point although lots can happen over the next two years.

You do know that Bush's approval rating is up to 44% now, right? Could go up even more we'll see. History will judge him, as it's currently judging 1 TERMER national disgrace Carter.

The GOP also nominated a moderate last time, that didn't work, REAL conservatism is what won us back the House and a majority of the governorships, nothing else.

That would be the viewpoint of a far right winger. No historian would agree with you.

James Buchanan, Warren G. Harding, and George W. Bush compete for the worst President in history.

Of Carter, Wilson, and Obama, none of the 3 are in the bottom 10. Obama isn't done yet, his legacy isn't complete, but for now he falls somewhere in the middle, yet to be determined.

I'm not narrow or liberal enough to argue that the worst President in history was Reagan, in spite of the fact that he may prove to be our downfall.

Wilson was the oblivious moron who got us involved in WW1, we should have let Germany win that, IE NO BITER, SCORNED, CRIPPLED REPUBLIC BREEDING LATENT, RABID, NATIONAL SOCIALISM FOR 20 YEARS AS A RESULT OF UNFAIR TREATY CONDITIONS. WILSON IS @ LEAST PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ADOLF HITLER, AND ALL HIS ATROCITIES. This is just common sense.

F.D.R. is the radical left, authoritarian, father of American Communism. Who raped the Constitution blatantly and purposely, time and time again, all for a set of programs, that did little to stimulate the economy and DIDN'T get us outta that depression. He had Supreme Court justices removed @ his leisure for disagreeing with him, and other lesser dissidents jailed as well for speaking out.

^^ THOSE 2 FAILURES^^ compete for worst Prez. ever, followed VERY closely by Peanut brain Carter and Clinton.

Quite obviously and deservedly, Lincoln and Reagan compete for BEST Prez. ever, as they both saved our great republic. Truman and GWB follow them.

Crazyness such as the type you spew, is the reason yall are less than 20% of the population buddy, wake up.

Oh, I hope obama is not re-elected, for that will mean Obama's ideal of a Marxist dictatership failed

Indeed. And for the time 1st time ever, the race card will have failed.

^^SHOCK & AWE^^ lol

Obama is the perfect first African-American president.

I hope I live up to the Liberal's expectations of a bigoted con.

Right. I can't wait to see the fine and spirited names they're currently thinking up for me.

"Neo-con" and "self-hating homo" are a couple of the amusing norms I'm used to LOL.

Will Obama be relected?

Depends on what happens between now and then and WHO the Republicans run against him, I expect.

Would I vote for him again?

Depends on what happens between now and then and WHO the Republicans run against him.

This.

If you cannot understand the difference between a statement and conditional statement your reading comprehension needs some serious regrooving.

I was agreeing with your opinion on the OP's question ... I feel the same way.

Actually I find it interesting that the question is asked at all. WILL he be re-elected? Who knows? Especially with 23 months to go before the election. Any number of things can happen that would and/or could effect the outcome of ANY election.

Speculation...that's all we have. And as you have noticed, the majority of supporters spout off one way and the evil non-supporters have their own reasons to believe just the opposite.

Personally, I don't care who gets elected in 12...as long as they shift the direction of this country from a nose dive to a climb. If Obama can do that, then hot damn...let's get him another 4 years...but if he plans to continue with this bullshit we're in now, then I hope he gets his ass handed to him in a doggy bag.

But that's just my opinion.

I totally agree.

Its 23 months till election time and anything can happen.

I didn't vote for Obama. My bullshit meter was in the red when I listened to him speak and I usually heed the OL'BS meter.

If he decides to run, which isn't a certaintly. He could very well be re-elected if the economy and the jobs situation gets turned around. Those are the key points. The economy and jobs.

A lot will depend on who the Reps field against him also. Too early to tell there as well.

Should be a interesting 23 months.
