Palestinians never wanted peace...They want israel gone.
There is a difference?

Yes. But having peace and having no Palestinians is the same thing. Since it's obvious that Palestinians would rather continue fighting.
And probably will until Israel ends its occupation.
That's not how occupations work. Violence must end FIRST. But since it's obvious that Palestinians would prefer to die then have a peaceful life besides Israel, their future looks quite bleak. Palestinians sure know how to dig a deep hole.

In past few months:

Israeli Settlers Step Up Violent Attacks Against Palestinians

An Israeli settler shot and seriously injured a 16-year-old Palestinian teenager on the outskirts of the West Bank village of Beitin village, Ma’an news agency reported, hours after settlers stabbed a Palestinian in north Jerusalem and attacked a Palestinian school in the village of Urif in the occupied West Bank.

Israeli settlers attacked three Palestinians in two separate incidents in Jerusalem, leaving the latter with bruises and injuries, Israeli TV reported Sunday night.

Israel's police arrested on Sunday night an Israeli who – along with several other settlers - attacked an Arab bus driver, leaving him with injuries, Israel's Channel 2 reported.

The settlers chanted "death to Arabs" while attacking the bus driver and threatened to kill him, the channel added.

But of course, it's not reported much in the media or it's deliberately buried: US media erase Israeli state and settler violence

Every Palestinian stabbing and vehicular attack on an Israeli is reported as if it occurs in a vacuum. But it dosn't. It occurs intertwined with the above.

To answer your question - no, it won't end, because neither side wants it to end badly enough to compromise. Netenyahu has made no real attempts to negotiate a permanent peace. Why should he? The status quo allows continued expansion through settlement building and according to his calculus, a permanent state of occupation has not costed enough to seek an end to it.

...Palestinians sure know how to dig a deep hole.
They've been pissing into the wind for 66 years and still haven't figured out that such a course of action is unwise.

In the end, they'll have nothing to show for it but cold, wet, stinky pants legs.

Not exactly the brightest crayons in the box.

Israel's version of peace is all of Palestine without the Palestinians. That would have happened already if the Palestinians sat back and let it happen.

They did that in gaza remember, and the the violence became worse. What should have happened is Israel should have warned the palestinians in August 2005 that they were poised to roll out a bombardment starting September 1st if the terrorism did not stop. Then as the date arrived set about firing ordinance at both ends and the middle and bringing them together.

While the arab muslims are putting obstacles in the way of meaningful discopurse the Israelis are going to be stubborn. Take all the pre conditions of the table and start with the basics first, dont let either side bring in anything other than peace and mutual borders until they are agreed. Then introduce other aspects one at a time until there is agreement reached. The west can hurry things along by witholding all aid until a satisfactory result is obtained, and the threat of withdrawal of aid if the peace process fails. Any gun running to result in immideate arrest and trial of the suspects, and if found guilty to face life in prison with no niceties.

No fake (1967) borders.
No guns.
Cool.

If the world and other arabs piss on palistanians, why can't jews?
That would have happened already if the Palestinians sat back and let it happen.
Oh, bog off. Left to themselves, palistanians couldn't wipe their own ass, of course. They've been lucky that Israel-hate exists in which palistanians play an important role of the jackass.

Yep it means the palestinians have to negotiate the extent of their land, and what they are perpared to give up in return for peace. If Jerusalem is the price then they will have to pay it wont they. Guns will still be in evidence as they are not part of the deal.

I was at a party the other evening and was asked how I would solve this conflict, so I asked do you mean the conflict with the arab muslims and the rest of the planet, since there is not a single group they are not oppressing/terrorizing or engaged in outright war with, and received some queried looks.

I then mentioned many of the dozens of the groups the arab muslims are ethnically cleansing and murdering in the mideast besides the jews in Israel, and asked why should those groups be ignored?

My response was simple; there are 2 options - 1) herd all arab muslims into a single country and remove them from the rest of the planet 2) reform, or even better, eliminate entirely, the death cult of islam.

Needless to say, several people, after recognizing the big picture to which i was referring, nodded in agreement.
